Jackson: Knockhill will suit Chevys
August 31st, 2011
Mat Jackson believes that this weekend’s British Touring Car Championship round at Knockhill will play to the strengths of the rival Chevrolet squad. Jackson took the championship lead for the first time this season following his race three win at Snetterton last time out and has tasted success on four occasions in 2011. However, the Motorbase Performance driver carrying 45kg of success ballast and the turbocharged cars have had their engines pegged back on a number of occasions against the normally-aspirated cars, such as the Chevys and the WSR BMWs this season

August 31st, 2011
Johnny Herbert and Mark Blundell will return to the Volkswagen Scirocco-R Cup at Brands Hatch this weekend and will be joined by Tiff Needell, Mark Higgins and Nicolas and Anthony Hamilton in guest cars. Herbert, a three-time grand prix winner, made his debut in the DTM support series at the British circuit last year and then took a pole position at the season-ending round at Hockenheim, while Blundell – another ex-F1 racer – made it onto the podium at the Brands Hatch event in 2010.

August 31st, 2011
Matt Neal will continue his British Touring Car Championship title challenge at Knockhill this weekend, despite breaking his right hand recently. Neal, who lies 3rd in the championship behind Mat Jackson and his Honda team-mate Gordon Shedden, had been a doubt for the round after sustaining the injury in a martial arts training session
