by Tim Terry on July 18th, 2011

Hardin, who finished 27th overall in 2011 Season One, captured the victory after a big win on Wednesday. The Greenville, South Carolina driver took the victory in Week Ten with 203 championship points, which was recorded in his one start for the week at the “Magic Mile.” The race featured seven cautions over the 90 lap duration and tipped the scales with a 3240 sof rating. Hardin, who drives with the Trinity Tattoo Company emblazoned on most of his iRacing rides, led [...]

Kentucky to address traffic issues

NASCAR and Kentucky Speedway owners have vowed to understand and fix the traffic issues that cast a shadow over the inaugural Sprint Cup Series event at the track. Despite the great attendance for the first Cup race at the venue, massive traffic jams before and after the event dampened its success and left both NASCAR and track owner Speedway Motorsports Inc (SMI) under scrutiny from fans. NASCAR president Mike Helton addressed the situation on Friday at Loudon, New Hampshire, and stated that work is already underway to determine the root of the traffic situation and implement plans to prevent a repeat for future events
