Lotus opens factory for tours
June 30th, 2010
Lotus has opened the doors of its headquarters to allow Formula 1 fans to look behind the scenes of a team’s factory.
The team’s base, in Hingham, Norfolk, has begun running 90-minute tours of the facility, which include the design office, composite and machine shops, race bays and race team workshops. Guests will also be able to meet the team and see this season’s Lotus T127 up close.
Tours cost £80 per person (£40 for under 17s and free for under 12s) and are available on limited dates to ensure the team and cars are on site. To book, email factorytours@lotusracing.my.
