MRN Partnering With Grand Am For 2011

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will return as the radio broadcast partner of the Grand Am Rolex Series for the 2011 season, starting with a multi-faceted coverage package for next weekend’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona Int’l Speedway.
Veteran broadcaster Eli Gold will MRN’s coverage team for the second-straight season. MRN’s coverage of the Rolex 24 will include live coverage and periodic updates on both satellite and terrestrial radio in addition to an on-line streaming element. Four live segments are planned, including two hours of coverage at the start and finish of the event, for SIRIUS NASCAR Radio Channel 128 plus more than 60 MRN affiliates throughout North America:
The four live broadcast segments with be streamed on motorracingnetwork.com and grand-am.com.
“This combination of live radio and on-line listening options is tailor-made for our race fans,” said Grand Am Vice President Kevin Hindson. “MRN will once again deliver award winning-coverage of the Rolex 24 and then, moving forward, the entire season of the Rolex Series.
