Sorry Danica but I only see greed here. Greed for Money and greed for even more popularity. Forget about talking to Stewart, he is the only driver other than AJ Foyt to be successful moving from open wheel to tin tops. Danica has only one Indy car win that came from fuel saving and a well timed pit stop not out right speed and skill. Witness the Indy 500 where she was leading but could not pull off the win with speed and skill. Danica is not even in the same league as IRL champs Montoya or Franchitti or Hornish let alone muli race winners Carpentier or Allmendinger. Or even Robby Gordon, John Andretti & Scott Speed. Those are the guys she should be talking to. IMHO this move at this time would ruin what she has built up as a female driver to this point. If she even qualified for a NASCAR race she would be a back marker and would only add to the short sighted opinion that girls can’t drive as good as boys out side of drag racing.

I think she’ll do fine. She certainly won’t be in poor equipment and it’s usually that which makes the difference.

I think it will be really tough if she makes the switch. Being on a strong team though, makes a huge difference. Andretti Green has struggled of late, so a move in IRL to Penske or Ganassi would be another option. She’s been 1 or 2 on Andretti Green, but that just gets her 5th position. NASCAR would be a ton more money, but she’s probably not hurting for money with all her endorsements. She’s already the most and least popular IRL driver. If she goes to NASCAR she’ll probably polarize even more people.

I don’t think she’ll make the switch. I mean she hasn’t really accomplished anything on the Indycar side of things whilst drivers who have are still struggling to a degree (Sam Hornish Jr as an example).
