Monaco race quotes: Williams
May 26th, 2013

Rosberg says race issues ‘inexplicable’
May 12th, 2013
Spanish Grand Prix poleman Nico Rosberg has admitted he was shocked at how quickly his Mercedes tumbled down the lap chart after his first pitstop. Rosberg led the opening stint of the race from pole, but his drop down the order began on lap 12, when Fernando Alonso passed him into Turn 1. He was further demoted by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen soon after

Spain practice quotes: Mercedes
May 10th, 2013
Lewis Hamilton – 6th/6th: The team have done a great job to bring our upgrades here this weekend and whilst I could feel the impact immediately, it’s difficult to quantify how much of an improvement has been made at this early stage.
Raikkonen: ruling out title ‘stupid’
May 10th, 2013
Kimi Raikkonen says Lotus would be ‘stupid’ not to believe it is knuckling down for a world championship fight this year. The Finn is just ten points adrift of points leader Sebastian Vettel after the first four races of the year, and its car has proved to be a step forward on last year’s challenger. Although there is still a view that Red Bull has the out-and-out fastest car, Raikkonen says there is absolutely no reason for Lotus not to set its sights on glory at the end of the campaign.
Ferrari’s start ‘only a six out of 10′
May 7th, 2013
Ferrari believes there is a lot of room for improvement this season, with chief designer Nikolas Tombazis saying the Scuderia deserves a six out of 10. The Maranello squad has enjoyed a stronger start to the campaign compared to last year, when it was hindered by a car that failed to deliver the expected performance. Ferrari has scored 77 points so far, compared to 45 at this point last year

Loeb adopting Hirvonen’s style
May 2nd, 2013
Sebastien Loeb is adjusting his driving style closer to Citroen team-mate Mikko Hirvonen’s as he sticks with a compromise set-up for his World Rally Championship return in Argentina. Unable to attend the team’s final test for this event, Loeb took the same set-up as team-mates Hirvonen and Dani Sordo for this week’s Villa Carlos Paz-based event, but could not find his rhythm with his Citroen through Thursday morning’s opener. “It’s not 100 per cent with the car,” he said.
Red Bull: title battle a four-way fight
April 25th, 2013
Red Bull thinks that the Formula 1 title battle is still a four-way fight, even though it is leading both championships after the first flyaways. Sebastian Vettel is the only driver to have won more than one race so far this season, and he currently holds a 10-point advantage in the drivers’ standings over Kimi Raikkonen. Although Red Bull’s rivals are convinced that the RB9 is the out-and-out fastest car, the Milton Keynes-based team is less sure about the situation
Hamilton: Mercedes needs cool weather
April 22nd, 2013
Lewis Hamilton believes that the cooler conditions of upcoming races in Europe will suit Mercedes, after the team struggled to look after its tyres in the Bahrain Grand Prix. Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn had said before the Sakhir event that if his outfit performed well in Bahrain then it would be quick everywhere because it was a track where it had struggled in 2012. But although Nico Rosberg took pole position, he and Hamilton were beset by tyre overheating issues throughout the weekend and found themselves unable to challenge for a podium.
Bahrain race quotes: Sauber
April 21st, 2013
Nico Hulkenberg – 12th: “It was a difficult and frustrating weekend. It was clear from the beginning that we were not fast enough and that it would be challenging. We are lacking speed and eat up the rear tyres too much so it simply wasn’t enough this weekend

Sutil stunned by his comeback form
March 17th, 2013
Adrian Sutil said he was amazed he could stay in the lead of the Australian Grand Prix , his first race since spending 2012 on the sidelines . The German, back with Force India after not racing last year, benefited from being one of the few drivers who started the race on the medium tyre compound to move into the lead after the frontrunners had pitted. Although he came under pressure from Sebastian Vettel, Sutil managed to stay ahead before he made his first pitstop
