The duo held position until the penultimate lap, when Michelisz was demoted by a charging Muller, who had started from 10th

Reigning IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay came closest to matching the Australian with an average of 228.282mph for Andretti Autosport.
Leaders bemused by WTCC qualifying
May 18th, 2013
Yvan Muller, Tom Chilton and Rob Huff were all left bemused by their rivals’ tactics as World Touring Car qualifying ended in laughable fashion at the Salzburgring. Muller was on provisional pole, with Chilton and Huff second and third, when the field – led by Chilton – headed out for one final flyer. With ample time on the board, drivers elected to fight for the perfect slipstream position, worth around four tenths of a second, behind Chilton.

May 12th, 2013
Matt Kenseth claimed his third win of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup season at Darlington, while his Joe Gibbs team-mate Denny Hamlin finished a superb second on his return after injury. The race looked like it would deliver an all-Gibbs top three, though, only for Kyle Busch to tumble back to sixth in the closing laps as his handling faded after what had been a dominant evening. The Busch brothers were the main protagonists in the early laps, as polesitter Kurt Busch kept his Furniture Row Chevrolet at the front for 69 laps before Kyle got through

Shedden wins after Plato puncture
May 5th, 2013
Gordon Shedden won the final, reversed-grid, British Touring Car race at Thruxton after another late puncture for a leader, this time Jason Plato. Adam Morgan held the lead initially, but the Ciceley Toyota Avensis then went wide at Church and had to pit to have its radiator cleared.

May 5th, 2013

Honda duo lead Slovakia Ring practice
