Solberg eager to salvage podium
May 29th, 2011
Petter Solberg has vowed to drive flat-out through the final day of Rally Argentina in an effort to rescue a podium result. The Norwegian had, once again, been in the fight for victory until a power steering problem dropped him from second to fourth on the final stage yesterday. “As a team we say we never give up and we’re not giving up here,” he said
WRC rivals deny being ‘at war’

July 9th, 2010
Petter Solberg is delighted with the way his new co-driver Chris Patterson has settled in on the first morning of Rally Bulgaria. Loeb leads as Citroen dominates
July 9th, 2010
Sebastien Loeb is in complete command of Rally Bulgaria after just two stages – and Citroen fills the top five places with Kimi Raikkonen delivering his best rallying form so far to push the Fords back to sixth and seventh. The first asphalt round of the 2010 world championship was always expected to favour Loeb and Citroen, but the extent of the C4s’ dominance on this morning’s opening loop is a blow to Ford. Loeb has been faster on both stages so far and leads Citroen Junior’s Sebastien Ogier by 16 seconds, the Portugal winner having taken second from factory driver Dani Sordo on SS2

The Northern Irishman replaces Phil Mills, Solberg’s long-time co-driver, who stepped down from the role after 152 WRC starts, 13 wins and one title alongside the Norwegian earlier this month
