Malaysia practice quotes: Force India
March 22nd, 2013
Adrian Sutil – 6th/10th: “The morning went OK and the balance was quite good. We made a change during the lunch hour to cure some oversteer and my general feeling with the car is good. I missed out on some running this afternoon, but I think the rain interrupted things for everybody so I didn’t miss too much dry track time.

Paul Hembery: “The teams experienced high ambient temperatures for the first time this year with our tyres, which was extremely useful as these are also the conditions that we would anticipate for the rest of the weekend. That includes the high risk of rain showers, as we saw halfway through FP2. “As the circuit dried towards the end of FP2, this allowed the teams to assess the crossover points between the intermediates and the slicks
Alguersuari, di Grassi keep Pirelli roles
January 23rd, 2013
Jaime Alguersuari and Lucas di Grassi are set to remain as Pirelli’s main Formula 1 test drivers for 2013. Ahead of a big programme to prepare rubber for the new 2014 regulations, there had been speculation that Pirelli could opt for a driver who had race experience from last year. However, Pirelli’s motorsport director Paul Hembery made it clear on Wednesday that he was happy to keep the two youngsters on board, especially as a lot of 2014 work would be done on simulators.

US Friday quotes: Pirelli
November 16th, 2012
Paul Hembery: “Today was all about familiarisation for the teams on what is the only brand new track of the year. With weather conditions being cooler than expected, the initial data suggests that both wear and degradation is very low on both compounds, which leads us to think that we will see just one stop on Sunday, but we will have to look at all the numbers in more detail tonight to have a clearer picture. Our data simulation work has proved to be extremely accurate, with both the compounds performing exactly as we expected, although we also have to take into account the high degree of track evolution that could certainly affect the strategy on Sunday.
Pirelli ‘needs wider compound choice’
October 31st, 2012
Pirelli needs a bigger choice of dry weather tyre compounds to choose from to avoid low-degradation one-stop races like the Indian Grand Prix. F1′s control tyre supplier has to specify four dry compounds at the start of the season, with two being selected for use in each grand prix weekend.

Bahrain Sunday quotes: Pirelli
April 22nd, 2012
Paul Hembery: “This was certainly a very technically challenging race, on a circuit that we had never experienced in racing conditions before. Nonetheless, we chose to bring our soft compound together with the medium in order to provide plenty of opportunities for strategy.
Bahrain preview quotes: Pirelli
