Block to test Pirelli’s F1 car at Monza

Ken Block is to get his first taste of Formula 1 machinery later this year when he drives Pirelli’s Toyota test car at Monza in August. The WRC driver, who is famous for his online Gymkhana videos, has tied up with the Italian tyre manufacturer for the run that is scheduled to take place on August 5 – the final day of a three-day test for Pirelli.
Rossi at a loss over lack of speed

Valentino Rossi admitted that he was struggling to make any progress at all at Silverstone after qualifying way back in 13th for the British Grand Prix. Although the Italian was having to learn the circuit having missed last year’s race due to his leg-breaking Mugello accident, he said a lack of track knowledge was far from the biggest issue, as problems on corner entry left him over three seconds off the pace.

Force India aims to close gap on BMW

Force India boss Vijay Mallya is hoping his team will be able to close the gap on BMW Sauber at this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix.
