Ferrari’s start ‘only a six out of 10′
May 7th, 2013
Ferrari believes there is a lot of room for improvement this season, with chief designer Nikolas Tombazis saying the Scuderia deserves a six out of 10. The Maranello squad has enjoyed a stronger start to the campaign compared to last year, when it was hindered by a car that failed to deliver the expected performance. Ferrari has scored 77 points so far, compared to 45 at this point last year

Analysis: Bianchi a boost for Marussia
March 1st, 2013
Losing a contracted driver on the eve of the season is never a good thing, but by landing Jules Bianchi , Marussia has ended up with a stronger line-up, in terms of on-track performance if not financial clout. Luiz Razia, as GP2 runner-up, is a worthy enough driver to have a crack at the top level and it’s impossible not to feel sympathy for a likeable character whose dream has been so cruelly snatched from him. But those that have worked with the Frenchman (including personnel at Force India, who have also had the chance to run Razia in testing ) recognise that Bianchi is the driver with the greater potential even though there are a few weaknesses that he has to overcome.

Sauber: Gutierrez will prove his worth
November 23rd, 2012
Sauber is confident that Esteban Gutierrez’s pace will prove that the team was justified in promoting him into a race seat for the 2013 Formula 1 season. The 21-year-old Mexican will be part of an all-new Sauber line-up next year, joining ex-Force India man Nico Hulkenberg to replace the McLaren-bound Sergio Perez and the dropped Kamui Kobayashi. Gutierrez’s appointment comes despite his two seasons in GP2 not living up to expectations following his GP3 title, and even though Kobayashi had shone with recent results such as his Japanese Grand Prix podium finish

‘Hulkenberg wrong to leave’ – di Resta
November 1st, 2012

Force India team-mate di Resta admitted he was surprised by Hulkenberg’s decision, as he doubts Sauber is a step up from his current team.
