Toyota’s solo entry in the next two rounds of the World Endurance Championship will be driven by its best-placed trio in the points table. As revealed by AUTOSPORT , the Japanese manufacturer will run just one TS030 HYBRID in the majority of the remainder of the series and that it will be driven by Anthony Davidson, Stephane Sarrazin and Sebastien Buemi at the Interlagos and Austin rounds of the series in September

Josh Hill says he has given up a possible career in motorsport to pursue his interests in music. The 22-year-old son of 1996 Formula 1 world champion Damon was competing in the Formula 3 European Championship with Fortec, but announced his retirement this week. He believes stopping immediately is the best course of action as he looks to develop other interests.

Pirelli’s appearance at the FIA International Tribunal is related to questions over whether not inviting other teams to the Mercedes test was ‘prejudicial’ to the best interests of Formula 1.
