Felipe Guimaraes made the most of his opportunity to take his maiden British Formula 3 International Series win in the reversed-grid race Brands Hatch. The Brazilian trailed Fortec team-mate Will Buller away from the start, but for the second time this weekend Buller earned a drive-through penalty for a jumped start. When the Northern Irishman served the penalty at the end of the fourth lap, Guimaraes was given a useful lead over Jann Mardenborough

Jazeman Jaafar held off a concerted race-long challenge from Jordan King to win the opening race of the British Formula 3 International Series weekend at Brands Hatch. The Malaysian, making his return to F3 from his usual programme in Formula Renault 3.5, led from pole position to the finish. King would occasionally drop back in a vain bid to take fastest lap, then close on the sister Carlin Dallara-Volkswagen

Jazeman Jaafar made a strong return to British Formula 3 by taking his first pole positions in the category in qualifying at Brands Hatch. The Malaysian, who is racing in Formula Renault 3.5 this season, put in two laps on his second set of tyres to leapfrog Jordan King, who had held onto the top spot for most of the session. Jaafar is contesting this weekend in order to be eligible for the Macau Grand Prix, and is not registered for points

Formula Renault 3.5 Series racer Jazeman Jaafar will return to the British Formula 3 International Series for this weekend’s round at Brands Hatch. Jaafar, who was runner-up in British F3 last season, will drive a Carlin Dallara-Volkswagen to bring the squad’s line-up to five for the event.

Marco Sorensen made it back-to-back Formula Renault 3.5 wins at Spielberg on Sunday with another victory from pole position in race two. The Lotus driver controlled the race, and fended off a strong attack from Kevin Magnussen after a restart, to complete his lockout of the weekend. Magnussen, who had been unable to keep with his countryman prior to the safety car period in the closing stages, eventually settled for second ahead of Nigel Melker.

Marco Sorensen took his first Formula Renault 3.5 win of the season in dominant style at Spielberg on Saturday. The Danish driver controlled the race from start to finish, and comfortably dealt with two restarts after safety car periods to take a four-second victory ahead of Nigel Melker. Melker, who was unable to judge when Sorensen would restart on both occasions and fell back, made relatively easy work of pulling away from Kevin Magnussen, who retook the championship lead with a lonely third place after being passed by Melker on the opening lap
