Four-time Champ Car title winner Sebastien Bourdais will drive for the 8Star Motorsports squad in the remainder of this year’s Grand-Am series. Bourdais will dovetail his IndyCar campaign for Dragon Racing with an assault on the remaining five Grand-Am races aboard 8Star’s second Coyote-Chevrolet, driving alongside Daytona Prototype newcomer Emilio DiGuida. The deal, which kicks off at Indianapolis for the Brickyard Grand Prix on July 26, marks a return to the series for Bourdais, who has contested the Daytona 24 Hours and Watkins Glen 6 Hours with the Starworks Daytona team this season.

Regan Smith will drive a full season for JR Motorsports in the 2013 Nationwide Series, the team announced Wednesday.
