The FIA believes that it can create a set of regulations that will appeal to privateers wanting to challenge for overall victories at Le Mans and in the World Endurance Championship. AUTOSPORT recently reported that the sport’s governing body was working with Le Mans organiser the ACO to come up with a set of regulations for 2014 that will encourage privateer teams to enter the top class of prototype racing.

LOUDON, N.H. — Tony Kanaan and Scott Dixon took part in the first day of a two-day Firestone tire test at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Tuesday, and both drivers put down some impressive lap times. The goal of the test for Firestone was to determine the appropriate tire combination for the return of the series to the 1.058-mile asphalt oval.

Week 13, those seven days of never-land separating iRacing’s four official 12 week seasons, can be many things to many people.
