Temples lit ’em up at SoBo in the Virtual Grip 100.

South Boston Speedway hosted the Lawrence Towing Outlaw Modifieds on Saturday night for the Virtual Grip 100.  The championship battle is hot and heavy with JR Shepherd on top of the points with only three sim races remaining.

However, it was Phillip Temples who led the field from the pole position and made a strong showing at SoBo, leading all 100 laps to take the victory.   John Holcomb came home second with another strong showing in the series, while  Shepherd finished in the fifth position to maintain his points lead on the field.

The Outlaws take a week off for the Labor Day holiday before heading to Braseltom, Georgia and Lanier Speedway.  You can check out all the sim racing action from South Boston here:
