St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
The city of St. Petersburg has an extensive history in motorsport, starting in the mid-1980s and briefly returning in the mid-1990s with two different circuits and Trans-Am as its anchor series. In 2003, CART organized a return to the city with a modified version of its original waterfront course, and in 2005, INDYCAR made the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg its first event outside of an oval. It’s been a staple of the series ever since, often serving as the INDYCAR season opener.
The 1.808-mile, 14-turn circuit includes extensive sections of 1st Street SW and Bayshore Drive SE, while a runway of Albert Whitted Airport serves as the start-finish straightaway. Most of its turns are fairly sharp and tight, with the first corner often causing drama at the start of the race as drivers funnel into a chicane. Turns 4 through 9 represent one of the most technical track sections on the INDYCAR calendar, before multiple long straightaways and a sweeping pair of right-handers conclude the lap.

Sweeping art updates have been completed at Lanier National Speedway, Langley Speedway, and USA International Speedway.
All-new HUD layout profiles, a visual spotter, and throttle and brake timelines highlight our continuously improving sim UI.
HUD Layout Profiles will let you customize, save, and even share HUD layouts specific to individual cars or classes.
The Visual Spotter acts as a different way to be informed about the vehicles around you, serving up the same data provided by the traditional spotter.
You may now also visualize your throttle and brake inputs as a timeline, and use a few new Widgets: Session Info, and Session Rules.
In our unstoppable commitment to vehicle excellence, several full Series of vehicles have received massive updates, including the IMSA Vintage Series, GTE Cars, TCR Cars, NASCAR O’Reilly Series Cars, and the Lotus 49.
This Season we’ve added the ability for AI Drivers to complete Qualifying and finish race events without any humans present. All new content also comes AI-enabled right out of the box including the Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR and St. Petersburg.
