The conclusion to the 2019 eNASCAR championship race is one that is still talked about to this day, where Zack Novak held off Keegan Leahy in a heads up battle for supremacy at Homestead-Miami Speedway, live on NBC Sports Network.

That was the last time that Novak had won in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. That was, until two weeks ago at Texas Motor Speedway, with the cards stacked against him following a Michigan Playoff opener to forget. Essentially needing a win to advance, Novak’s strategy paid off for glory, claiming both a win and a seat at the Championship race in Uptown Charlotte next month.

Steven Wilson is the other driver with a seat confirmed, having won that Michigan race back in August. Wilson shouldn’t have won that race, but won it anyway. Novak shouldn’t have won that Texas race, but he also won it anyway. Winners win.

Zack Novak returns to eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series victory lane at Texas, advances to Championship 4

Despite not having the win until Texas, Novak has played a game towards the front of the pack all season long, winning the first Segment points battle of the season and entering the playoffs with the second-most points on the entire season. Wilson, on the other hand, has a record number of wins in his collection this season. The crazy thing is, they might face two drivers who don’t have a single win this season in the Championship 4 battle, and they would have just as great a shot at taking the title as the two locked in currently.

After two of the three eNASCAR Playoff rounds in the books, two former champions are confirmed, and two more former champions currently hold the final two spots—Parker White and Casey Kirwan. As long as there is no new winner, and both drivers finish inside the top-10, the title fight will be confirmed. However, there are still six more drivers that could take it from them, either on points, or in the more likely scenario, on a win.

Here’s who is hot, and who is not, as the series takes on the penultimate round of the 2025 season, the Logitech G Play 120 at Phoenix Raceway, on Tuesday night.

PHOENIX DRIVER POWER RANKINGS | Two tickets left, will it be White, Kirwan, or anyone else?

It should go without saying, or even doing the math, but the two drivers at the top of the pile are the two drivers confirmed to be fighting for a title this season. The next two on the list are the two who have the seats reserved, but not completely confirmed. The final two in the top-10 are drivers with multiple wins that could see their championship runs end prematurely on Tuesday night if they aren’t the driver in eNASCAR Victory Lane.

Tucker Minter is the first of those two, a three-time winner in the 2025 season, his chances got dashed at Michigan when he spun on the final lap after leading 65 of the 72 laps run on that day. A recovery run at Texas, finishing second to Zack Novak, put points back on the table, but imagine if he didn’t have that Michigan spin, or even if it was a top-20 finish.

The iRacing-to-reality hopeful, Vicente Salas, was in a perfect spot on the white flag at Texas, but contact with Seth DeMerchant took a top-five run and turned it into a 32nd place effort. Minter is 11 points out, while Salas is 16 points below the cut. For both, a points-paying entry into the Championship 4 isn’t completely unlikely, but a win for any driver outside the current top-four is the best way to ensure a spot on stage on October 7th. In fact, a win is the only chance for Kollin Keister and Jordy Lopez to keep their seasons alive.

Mr. Championship 4 himself, Bobby Zalenski was sitting pretty after a ninth place run at Michigan combined with the bonuses earned from his two wins in the Regular Season. A late race scuffle at Texas sent the #22 into the barrier and back to 25th, which puts him from inside the top-four to just outside it, 13 points back. Then there’s Dylan Duval, who had the lead on the final restart, albeit on the oldest tires in the field. Duval managed to hang on for fifth, but that means he’s also 13 points out with just one Phoenix race to decide the four fighting for the title.

Of course, it’s not just about the Playoffs. There are a ton of other important fights happening throughout the field. One such fight is the Rookie of the Year battle, which has become extremely hot in the last couple of weeks. Four drivers are still mathematically eligible, but the top-three are the ones to keep an eye on. Connor Yeroschak leads the fight, but only by three points over Christopher Hill, who has been on an absolute tear lately. Back in third, Blaze Crawford led the Rookie points for a good portion of the season, and still has a chance, 19 points behind. Quentin Warman is the driver on the fringe, who will have to be within 40 points of the leader exiting Phoenix to still be eligible. He’s currently 44 points back.

Maybe the Rookie points aren’t Warman’s focus, however, as he finds himself as one of four drivers with a realistic mathematical shot to stave off relegation that are currently below the cut line. Donovan Strauss, another iRacing-to-Reality hopeful, has climbed back out of his mid-season funk, and now sits 12th in the standings with two races to go. Malik Ray also breaks back into the Power Rankings this week for the first time since his Dover suspension. Ray also now holds a spot back inside the top-20. The points are close enough that 21st could get as high as 11th in the right circumstances, and 11th could fall down to 21st. That’s how close it is among the mid-pack. It will be a fight until the end, for sure.

PHOENIX TEAM POWER RANKINGS | Channel 199 responds with first win in 2025

The Power Rankings always felt weird when a team with no wins would be on top, ahead of a team with four, or five, or now seven wins in total, despite that total belonging to just one of the two drivers on board.

Simply put, Spire Motorsports leads the Team Standings, thus they lead the Power Rankings again entering the 17th race of the season, Channel 199 Sim Racing, with a win and two top-five finishes, closes the points gap to 28 points with two races to go. It will come down to these two teams, whether the dynamic duo of Novak and Duval can continue their consistency, or if Wilson can continue to carry for Femi Olatunbosun.

Granted, after 16 race weeks, the first driver outside the eNASCAR Playoffs is Olatunbosun on points, so while the wins are certainly helping, Femi’s point scoring has also contributed to the cause. It really is a toss up, and depending on how Phoenix plays out, could be a fight to the last second, like the last few seasons have been.

They are also the two teams that will definitely represent in the Championship 4. Channel 199 could potentially take up two of the four spots if Duval can advance. Otherwise, Atlassian Williams, the defending Team Champions, and the Kansas City Pioneers, a team that was represented in the 2024 Championship 4, currently hold the final two tickets.

Outside the playoff battles, two teams have really done wonders in their first full-time campaigns. While ERA eSports still has Bobby Zalenski fighting for a chance at the Championship 4, they’ve had a solid season overall with Zalenski and Michael Cosey Jr racing up front. The Vegas Inferno came out of the gates blazing as well, tempering down to a bit of a flicker in the middle of the season, but now they have both Michael Guest and Malik Ray on the right side of the Relegation line with two races to stay there.
