For both Steven Wilson and Zack Novak, the hard part is behind them. Both drivers have qualified for the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Championship 4, and will fight for their respective second career series titles.

For the remaining eight drivers in the eNASCAR Playoffs, this is it. Now, or never. Do, or don’t. Only two spots remain at the championship table. Those places currently belong to two other champions after Texas—Parker White and Casey Kirwan. Can both former champs hold on to their tickets to the dance following 120 laps at Phoenix Raceway, or will one of the six others claim a spot to fight for their first title?

Coverage for the Logitech G Play 120 begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 30 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:30 p.m. ET.

LAST RACE

After a poor result at Michigan two weeks prior, Zack Novak entered Texas in somewhat of a must-win situation. Points weren’t completely off the table, but it would be a huge challenge to overcome, and a win would change all of that. It didn’t start off great, as he started in 31st. An overcut of a strategy would put Novak up into the top-five late, but the necessity of tires forced him to pit late in the going. A late caution brought him back into the conversation, and using his lightly used tires, he marched to the lead, around his teammate Dylan Duval, to take his first win since the 2019 championship race.

LAST YEAR

Coming into the Phoenix race in 2024, Parker White had come close, but was still without the cigar of a first victory. His points position coming in was good enough to ensure a place in the championship race, but only a win could ensure it, and prevent any rivals from taking it for themselves. White went on to win the race, the first of his career, which would eventually lead to a second win weeks later, live on stage at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, where he would collect his first title in just his second season in the series.

PLAYOFF UPDATE

Following Zack Novak’s Texas triumph, two seats are filled at the Championship 4 table as he joins Michigan winner Steven Wilson. The final two seats are still to be determined, but after two races, they belong to Parker White and Casey Kirwan. Tucker Minter sits fifth, with Bobby Zalenski and Dylan Duval tied for sixth. Vicente Salas falls to eighth, with both Kollin Keister and Jordy Lopez, ninth and tenth respectively, in must-win scenarios.

A win will lock any of the eight eligible into the title fight. At least one points position will exist. If there is no new winner, both White and Kirwan could advance with as much as a top-10 performance. Should either have an off night in the desert, the battle for the last spot on points could be a toss up, with fifth through eighth only separated by five points.

TRACK FACTS

What is now known as Phoenix Raceway first opened in 1964. The mile-long oval has always included a unique dogleg on one of its straightaways, but has undergone numerous renovations and improvements over its history, ranging from the addition of progressive banking in 2011 to a complete flip of its layout in 2019 that put the start-finish line after what was once Turn 2. Phoenix has hosted the NASCAR Cup Series since 1988, taking over its season finale in 2020, and it also hosted the first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in 1995.

NEXT RACE

Following Phoenix, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season will conclude with a title bout in the 18th and final round of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 7th. Last season, Parker White claimed his first title in a last lap, four-wide pass on Steven Wilson, Bobby Zalenski, and Tucker Minter entering Turn 1.
