eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Readies for Refreshed 2026 Season
February 9th, 2026 by Chris Leone
17th edition of season features 11-round Qualifying Series, 13-round Championship, $500,000 on the line
One of the world’s longest tenured and most exciting racing esports series enters its 17th season in 2026, as iRacing and NASCAR are pleased to announce the return of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. 2026 takes the series’ established talent pool and $500,000 purse to the next level with an all-new format, giving more drivers than ever a chance to make it to the championship.
In 2025, Steven Wilson scored his second title in three years from the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, capping off the most dominant season of his career in the process. The Spire Motorsports driver led 85 of 100 laps from the pole to score his record-extending eighth win of the season, claiming the $100,000 champion’s prize in the process.
This year, the chase for the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup takes on a whole new shape thanks to a reconfigured format that expands the season to 24 rounds. The first 11 rounds of the season have been designated the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Qualifying Series, starting on February 10 at Daytona International Speedway. For the first time, all three NASCAR national series vehicles will be represented under the eNCIS banner, as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and NASCAR Cup Series will all make up a portion of the Qualifying Series schedule.
From there, the top 30 in Qualifying Series points will join the top 20 in last year’s standings and top two in eNASCAR College iRacing Series points for free agency, where 40 of 52 drivers will be selected to compete full-time in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series. The Championship Series will see a nine-race regular season starting on May 19 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, followed by a three-race playoff beginning September 1 at Michigan International Speedway, and an October 13 finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway to determine the champion.

“The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series is a crown jewel of iRacing’s esports efforts, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome it back for its 17th season in 2026,” said iRacing president Tony Gardner. “This year’s all-new format further develops the series with some exciting new refinements that should keep drivers fresh and focused as they set their sights on the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup once again. We’re looking forward to kicking things off once again on February 10 at Daytona!”
“The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series has always represented the pinnacle of sim racing, and as we enter our 17th season, we’re taking that legacy to the next level. With an expanded format, this series truly becomes a championship of the iRacing community where any driver who meets the standard has a path to compete, earn their place, and etch their name into one of the most prestigious legacies in iRacing. We can’t wait to engage this passionate community and crown the 2026 champion this October,” said Ray Smith, Sr. Director, Sim Racing, NASCAR.
