The road to $500,000 embarks on the 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series summer stretch on Tuesday night. With the start of the second Segment at Dover Motor Speedway, another points battle begins as the main points battle takes center stage following Bobby Zalenski’s second win of the season last week at Naval Base Coronado.

Multi-time winners means more points spots in the eNASCAR Playoffs, and with just ERA eSports Team’s Zalenski and Spire Motorsports’ Steven Wilson in victory lane so far, points are more valuable than ever, but that win will still take precedence as the automatic ticket. Last year at Dover, Kanaan Esports’ Vicente Salas earned redemption at the Monster Mile, dominating the 2025 event to punch his spot in the Playoff picture.

That win would lead to two more and a Championship 4 berth. Will it be more of the same again in 2026? Coverage for the fourth round of the Championship Series season begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 15 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:45 p.m. ET.

PREVIOUS RACE: ZALENSKI RECLAIMS KING OF THE ROAD STATUS WITH CORONADO WIN

For the first time in history, NASCAR took to Naval Base Coronado for a week of racing around the base. The first series to race the base was virtually in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series on last Tuesday night. The Qualcomm Circuit itself was made in conjunction with iRacing, and in the 2026 Season 3 build, the track was released to the public, which meant the Coca-Cola Series stars only had a couple of days to figure out the nuances of the new track.

When a road course is mentioned, usually so is the name Bobby Zalenski. In his 19 previous wins in the series, 10 of them had come through making left and right hand turns. His 20th on Tuesday night would make that 11 road wins, and his second of the season, as Zalenski held off a hard charging Parker White for the win. Steven Wilson, who finished second after White’s late race collapse, would end up winning the Segment points title.

LAST YEAR: SALAS SAVES TIRES, DOMINATES AT DOVER

In the 12th trip to the Monster Mile in eNASCAR history, tire wear was the headlining story as Miles was hungry for rubber on that particular day. Dover master Nick Ottinger took the pole position, looking for his fifth win at the concrete circuit. Ottinger led 27 laps, but it was the fourth place starter, Vicente Salas, who had the strategy right on that Tuesday night. Salas took the lead and maintained his tire wear, leading 93 laps en route to the win, his first of the season, and third of his career.

STANDINGS ENTERING DOVER

There are a number of points standings to keep an eye on this season besides the Driver’s Standings. There will also be Team Standings to keep track of, where the two drivers of each official team will earn points towards the Team Championship at the end of the season.

Every three races, there will be a three-race mini-championship, dubbed Segments, where the driver with the most points in that stretch will earn five additional Playoff Points. Finally, there are nine rookies competing this season, but only one can be the Rookie of the Year.

In the nine-race eNASCAR Regular Season, a third of it is already in the books. Two drivers are all but locked into the eNASCAR Playoffs, with Bobby Zalenski doubling his win total over Steven Wilson. Each win earns five Playoff Points for the three-race playoff, but there’s another way to earn those points, and that’s by winning a Segment.

There are three Segments in the Regular season, each of which consists of three races, and the first one officially belongs to Wilson, who won that points title by 16 points over Zalenski. Heading to Dover, both now have 10 Playoff Points in their pocket. The second Segment will start everyone at zero points, with the driver to score the most points at Dover, Iowa, and Indianapolis taking the next five Playoff Points.

Wilson’s team, Spire Motorsports, continues to lead the Team Championship, but just by 15 points over William Byron eSports. Zalenski’s team, ERA eSports, sits in third, 17 points back. In the battle for Rookie of the Year, RFK Racing’s Shawn Conklin continues to lead the way. Kanaan Esports’ Sebastian Marin had a promising start at Coronado, earning qualifying points and running inside the top-10 for the Sprint, but ultimately fell to finish 25th. RFK Racing’s Dylan Basen was the rookie of the race, finishing in 11th.

DOVER TRACK FACTS

Also known as The Monster Mile, Dover Motor Speedway is a concrete oval that measures a mile in length, with 24 degrees of banking in the corners and even nine degrees of banking on the straightaway. Opened in 1969, it was originally asphalt, but since 1995, it’s been one of only three concrete tracks on the NASCAR schedule.

It’s known as a “self-cleaning” speedway, because when the wrecks happen, they might be big, but they’ll usually end up rolling to the bottom of the banking. The Delaware track has appeared on the NASCAR Cup Series, O’Reilly Series, and Craftsman Trucks Series schedules through the years. This season, Dover hosted the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race, which was won by Denny Hamlin.

NEXT RACE: DREAMING OF THE CORNFIELDS AT IOWA

Following Dover, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series will race next at Iowa Speedway. Originally slated to be the third race of the 2026 calendar, Iowa was moved to the fifth round to allow for Naval Base Coronado to join the schedule. Iowa takes the date originally scheduled for Mexico City.

Last season, Steven Wilson claimed another hometown victory as the Iowan held off a strong charge from Zack Novak to take his fifth win of the year. The action from Iowa starts on July 7th with the Countdown to Green pre-race show at 7:45 p.m. ET.
