Starting in 2021, iRacing introduced a new series to keep the oval competition going during the winter months. This new series would feature the 1987 Ford Thunderbird and Chevy Monte Carlo duking it out in both Fixed and Open setup events following the standard NASCAR iRacing Series limited time slots.
