Welcome back to This Week in iRacing, your guide to the daily, even hourly racing that members can get into, based on where their license level is at. There are also some special series that run at specific times that anyone can jump into, with the right credentials, that offer a more meaningful sim racing experience.
WELCOME TO WEEK 13!
Here are a few of the highlighted series taking place this week — 2026 Season 3, Week 13 — from September 8th to September 14th in 2026.
iRACING SPECIAL EVENTS
iRacing’s Special Event calendar features a selection of the world’s most compelling races across numerous disciplines. Whether you’re interested in stock cars or sports cars, open-wheel formula cars or sprint cars, sticking to pavement or playing in the dirt, running solo or racing with a team of your closest friends, our Special Events have something for everyone!
iRACING SUZUKA 1000
The next special event on the 2026 iRacing Special Event calendar is the iRacing Suzuka 1000. The Suzuka 1000km, is an annual sports car endurance race that has been held at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan since 1966. After a five-year hiatus, the event returned in September 2025 as part of an Intercontinental GT Challenge.

WEEKLY RACING SERIES
These are the series that are not confined to the iRacing seasons, that run independently throughout the course of the year and feature some of the most recognizable motorsports racing around. From NASCAR to the Whelen Modifieds, from Formula 1 to INDYCAR, and even some weekly local dirt track racing, iRacing offers many special series to jump in an compete in!
NASCAR iRACING SERIES
Back again in 2026, the NASCAR iRacing Series (Open Setup and Fixed Setup) follows the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for a 36-week racing season. The series visits the tracks on the real-world schedule, utilizing the NASCAR Next Gen / Gen 7 Stock Cars from Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota.
Week 28 of 36 will take place at World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway).
The races this week are scheduled for:
Fixed Schedule: Wednesday, 21:00 GMT; Friday, 01:00 GMT; Saturday, 10:00 & 16:00 GMT; Monday, 01:00 GMT
Open Schedule: Thursday, 01:00 & 18:00 GMT; Saturday, 01:00 GMT; Sunday, 14:00 GMT

iRACING GRAND PRIX TOUR
The fastest, most challenging, most exciting road racing series on the iRacing service, the iRacing Grand Prix Tour features the Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E Performance on many of the world’s most fabled and demanding circuits, in either fixed or open setup series.
Week 16 of 24 will take place at MotorLand Aragón – Grand Prix.

Fixed Schedule: Thursday, 10:00 & 19:00 GMT; Friday, 01:00 & 04:00 GMT; Saturday, 10:00 & 19:00 GMT; Sunday, 01:00 & 04:00 GMT
Open Schedule: Friday, 10:00 & 19:00 GMT; Saturday, 01:00 & 04:00 GMT; Sunday, 10:00 & 19:00 GMT; Monday, 01:00 & 04:00 GMT

NEW! iRACING DTM SERIES
The iRacing DTM Series is a midweek championship that runs ahead of each real-world DTM round, using the same track where possible and a suitable alternative when not. Races are 55 minutes, time-based with a rolling start, and drivers are free to choose any car and change week to week. Official sessions are scheduled globally at 8:00 PM local time on Thursdays in each region.
Week 7 of 8 will take place at the Sachsenring.
The races this week are scheduled for:
Thursday 10:00 GMT (Sydney) and 18:00 GMT (Europe), Friday 00:00 GMT (US East) and 03:00 GMT (US West)

CREVENTIC ENDURANCE SERIES
The sixth season of the iRacing CREVENTIC Endurance Series will feature a new lineup of tracks and cars. iRacing’s partnership with CREVENTIC, the organizers of the real-world 24H Series and iRacing’s 24H Series Esports Endurance league, brings CREVENTIC’s organizational capabilities to a series that is open to all iRacing members.
Week 4 of 5 will take place at the Nürburgring Grand-Prix-Strecke – BES/WEC.

Saturday, 01:00 GMT and 13:00 GMT

SPECIAL DAILY RACING SERIES
Of course, we are always racing something at iRacing.
Whether you’re an oval specialist, running in every NASCAR series we offer, or if you enjoy getting in your favorite tin-top or open wheel machine to make laps at some of the most historic race tracks out there, there is always something to jump in and wheel. These are a collection of our special curated hourly series, from the serious ones that can qualify you for top level eSports to the fun ones like Draft Master, where there’s packed up Superspeedway racing that anyone can win every hour.
It is Week 13 this week, so many of the normal series are off, minus a few of the usual suspects. Check out a list of activities down below.
