Sharman leads the pack into the Andretti Hairpin on the opening lap.

Round Two of the iRacing.com Cadillac Cup returned to the States and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.  A total of 513 drivers signed-up for a race during the week with 134 taking to qualifying throughout the week and 100 sim-racers entering time trial competitions.

Qualifying Top 10
Qualifying was led by Dylan Sharman who posted a 1:21.697 with Carlos Reyes Aiguadé back in second place on a 1:22.257 and Nathan Moore third with a 1:22.347. Aurelio Leonetti was fourth on a 1:22.504 with Nathan Moore fifth for the week on a 1:22.625 while Jason Lisner was seventh with a 1:22.738. Pavel Okhrimenko, Jens Christoffersen, Arkadiusz Polok2 and Hannes Thaler rounded out the top 10.

Sharman bested Aiguadé for the Week 2 pole.

SOF Race of the Week
The biggest SOF race of the week (2398) went green at 22:30 GMT on Friday night.  Sharman got a half decent start and led the whole way while Aiguadé would finish in second place some five seconds back of the winner. Similarly, Leonetti started from third and that’s where he would stay, with Ganley and Okhrimenko following him for the entire online race. Ganley finished fourth after a mistake by Okhrimenko allowed Ganley to get beside and, after a weeee bit of contact, overtake him. George Kuyumji finished in seventh place after a late dive on Michael Engelage resulted in contact between the two and almost put both of them in the wall. Kristopher Hen finished eighth, the last Cadillac CTS-V on the lead lap, with Bryan Treen a lap down in ninth with Jason Warren2 rounding out the top 10 two laps down. Andrew DeYoung was another driver two laps down in 11th with Danny Hagenberg, Kenneth Walker2, Oriol Servia, James Gow and Ian McPherson all experiencing DNFs.

Top 10 Point Scorers for the week
The Week Two top 10 point scorers were led by Sharman (150) after winning the highest SOF race of the week while Leonetti scored 140 points with Ganley taking 127 and Pavel Okhrimenko scoring 123, one better than Aiguadé.  Nathan Moore (118), Jens Christoffersen, Michael Engelage, Paulo Dario and Dan Parsons (112) rounded-out the top 10,  with 6th to 10th covered by six points.

Championship Standings – Top 3 Divisions

Division 1 – Sharman leads after two weeks with 311 points with Leonetti 41 points back in second and Aiguadé P3 with 248.

Division 2 – Ganley leads the division by 16 points from Christoffersen with Tarcilo Cordeiro on 225, some 35 points back from Ganley

Division 3 – Pavel Okhrimenko leads the third division on 270 points with Jamison Sampaio Santos in second on 204 and Yuri Grigorenko third on 191.

Time Trial Standings – Overall Top 5
Sharman leads the Time Trial standings after Week Two with Leonetti and Aiguadé equal second on 195. Daniel Kelly5 and Arkadiusz Polok2 round-out the top five.
