Nitro Circus Sim Racing Team teammates Josh Edmundson and Connor Barry gave their team a sweep of Wednesday night’s iRacing Off-Road Championship Series Pro 2 Exhibition event at Crandon International Raceway. The night saw a trio of firsts for the series: a non-points race to break up the season, an event on Crandon’s short layout, and a showcase of the Pro 2 truck, forcing drivers to adapt their skills to a rear-wheel drive machine.

Barry posted the top qualifying time with a 42.202, but it was Virtual Drivers by TX3 racer Quentin Dall’olmo who came from 10th on the grid to take the lead after the 10-wide land rush start and a major wreck behind him. Eventual race winner Edmundson wrapped up the first lap in fourth, but jumped to second on Lap 4 and began carving time out of Dall’olmo’s lead. He and Barry both made their way past on Lap 8, while Killian Dall’olmo of Altus Esports took the final podium place from his brother on Lap 11.

The second race was down to the same showdown between Barry and Factory Simsport’s Keaton Swane that has dominated so much of iRacing’s pro off-road action over the past two years. Swane led the first lap ahead of Killian Dall’olmo and Barry, but Barry posted the fastest lap of the race on Lap 2 to pull into second. Five laps later, the lead changed hands for good. Once again, the driver who led early would fall to fourth, as both Dall’olmo and Edmundson would make their way past Barry.
