eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series | Power Rankings | Race 10 at Iowa Speedway
June 13th, 2025 by Justin Melillo
The second segment ended in dramatic fashion less than two weeks ago at Kansas Speedway. While Bobby Zalenski (ERA eSports) led entering the Segment finale with his Talladega victory propping him at the top, Tucker Minter (William Byron eSports) was the favorite following two straight wins at Charlotte and Nashville. Minter almost grabbed it, but he was withheld from the prize by Spire Motorsports’ Steven Wilson, who broke his winless streak to take his fourth win of the season while also claiming the Segment title.
Wilson wasn’t the victor of Segment 1 despite three wins in five races, so to claim Segment 2 after only being able to score one victory is the aura we’re used to from the 2023 series champion. While Minter still leads the overall points standings still, it is Wilson who has the upper hand. Winning the Regular Season title doesn’t get you anything extra (unless you didn’t already have a win, it would be a ticket to the playoffs itself at this point), but winning each Segment earns five additional Playoff Points. That means, entering Segment 3 and the final five races of the 2025 eNASCAR Regular Season, Steven Wilson has 25 Playoff Points while Tucker Minter only has 15. Advantage Wilson.
Wilson’s team, Spire Motorsports, also reclaimed the top spot in the Team Standings from Channel 199 Sim Racing this week, in part mostly thanks to Wilson’s win but also in part due to Femi Olatunbosun claiming his best finish of the Segment, 14th, his best result since Rockingham back in Segment 1. Olatunbosun’s slide has allowed for Channel 199, Atlassian Williams Sim Racing, ERA eSports, and William Byron eSports to stay in the conversation through the midway point of the year.
Speaking of Atlassian Williams, Parker White was the Parker White of old again at Kansas, taking the pole position and leading the most laps. While he did still only finish in fourth, the future bodes well for the defending series champion. Here’s how the rest of the Power Rankings shape up entering the second half of the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season.
IOWA DRIVER POWER RANKINGS | Wilson responds to Minter with series-leading fourth win of season
The first segment of the season was the Steven Wilson show. If not for a faulty internet connection at Las Vegas that cost Driver 77 a total of 14 laps while leading, he might have had four wins and a Segment 1 title to also tout to this point. In Segment 2, Wilson was still a main character, but Tucker Minter was taking all of the glory. For a while, it looked as though the balance had shifted completely into Minter’s favor. With Wilson winning the eNASCAR Overtime duel against Minter to claim the victory in both the race and the Segment, the balance has shifted yet again. Perhaps more centered than before, but still leaning in favor of the former champion.
This week, iRacing released the 2025 Season 3 build, which brought with it changes to the NASCAR Gen 7 machinery that these eNASCAR greats are utilizing on Tuesday nights. New aero effects, new tire modeling, and some handling characteristics are new for the upcoming event at Iowa Speedway. Also, Iowa Speedway is also new, with updated graphics and surface modeling based on the current day iteration. This could mean nothing and our current dominant forces could continue to dominate. Or, it could change everything.

While Wilson and Minter struggle for the top spot, as mentioned previously, Parker White was back to his old self at Kansas. So was Casey Kirwan (Kansas City Pioneers) as the pair, along with Wilson and Minter, struggled for supremacy amongst the quartet throughout that entire race. Bobby Zalenski, unfortunately, never got a chance to fight for the Segment title lead that he entered the night with. In the opening moments of the race, Zalenski was sent from a top-15 starting spot to last place after getting caught in a checkup on green. Zalenski fought back to finish 21st, but he needed a top-five to clinch a Segment 2 victory.
Speaking of top-fives, Vicente Salas (Kanaan Esports) was the fifth place finisher at Kansas, his second straight after two rough weeks at Talladega and Charlotte. A Sprint race winner at Interlagos and Heat race winner at Richmond, Salas is still looking for that first Feature race victory that counts towards a Playoff berth, and that win is the only way he can be sure to make it to Michigan with a chance at a title.
Ryan Luza (fgrAccel) continued his return to glory at Kansas with another top-10 run. Segment 2 was kind to the 2017 series champion, finishing seventh by the end of things. The come-up has Luza just outside the top-20 in the overall standings, in 21st. Should he be able to capitalize and get back to eNASCAR Victory Lane for the first time since 2022, Luza could be a wild card into the Playoffs that might prevent a Malik Ray (Vegas Inferno) or Michael Cosey Jr (ERA eSports) from making the 10-man title fight.
While both Minter and Zalenski have been reaping the spoils of their backend team’s successes, sophomore driver Seth DeMerchant (fgrAccel) has been right in their footsteps throughout the second Segment. DeMerchant’s worst result in the last three races was at Kansas—13th despite being in the lead pack the entire day—but we could have been talking about his first win at Charlotte three races ago if the caution either didn’t fly or his late race restart was a slight bit better.
Cosey Jr and Jordy Lopez (BS+COMPETITION) have also been running better over on that Altus/Altanda backend alliance. Cosey is just outside the playoffs now after his seventh place run, and Jordy was flirting with a top-five at Kansas before ultimately settling on his first top-10 since Interlagos. Lopez didn’t make the Power Rankings this week, but he’s right on the cusp of getting back in.
Our Rookie of the Year continues to be Blaze Crawford (Team Dillon Esports) who collected another top-20 finish at Kansas. He’s the only rookie ranked in the Power Rankings this week. Connor Yeroschak (Letarte Esports) and Quentin Warman (Hyak Motorsports) both continue to have solid seasons themselves, but still sit outside the top-20 in the standings at the halfway point.

IOWA TEAM POWER RANKINGS | Team title still undecided at halfway point despite Wilson, Minter victories
Usually, when a driver has a career season, their team also reaps the benefits and pulls away alongside. Stewart-Haas eSports did that in 2023 when Wilson won the Driver’s title while working with Dylan Duval, who had a solid season alongside. This year, these teams haven’t really had any cases where both drivers are standing out together at the same time.
Travis Pastrana’s Channel 199 Sim Racing team was the top dog for the last few weeks despite neither Duval or Zack Novak having wins to their name. One bad week for the both of them and the math says the whole team drops dramatically. That opens the door for Spire Motorsports and William Byron eSports again, despite only one of their drivers standing out. Both Femi Olatunbosun for Spire and Nick Ottinger for William Byron eSports are showing promise, but promise doesn’t equal the points they need to pull away, so it’s more of a stalemate than anything.
Atlassian Williams has taken the top spot of the teams without a win to their credit from Channel 199. Both Atlassian Williams drivers find themselves in the playoff picture, with Parker White sitting fourth and Donovan Strauss in eighth. Move them both down a peg or two and they’re not safe into the playoffs yet by any means, but they are scoring points and the team is only 19 points behind Spire and their winning machine in Wilson.
If Olatunbosun or Ottinger figure it out, their respective teams are going to pull away from the rest, no doubt. I also think that if Casey Kirwan and Graham Bowlin start getting hot, that the Kansas City Pioneers could be a threat in the second half of the year. It is worth keeping an eye out for ERA eSports, with Zalenski locked and Cosey Jr just outside of the Playoffs, in a similar situation as Atlassian Williams and Channel 199. Vegas Inferno, with Malik Ray currently inside the playoff grid and Michael Guest grinding to get there, also looks to be in a great position to fight for the Team title as well.
The teams near the middle of the pack are rotating in and out of the Power Rankings pretty regularly. One week, we’ve got BS+COMPETITION with the math to make the top-10, the next week, Jim Beaver eSports is back in the conversation. This week, Kanaan Esports returns with a solid day from Vicente Salas. Unfortunately, Alexander Russell’s day was not a good one, and the gap between teammates continues to be part of the reason that Tony Kanaan’s team isn’t a mainstay on this list.
Hyak Motorsports was the team to fall out this week, and it’s a tough loss to swallow for the returning-but-really-kind-of-new-addition to the team grid. Dylan Ault was running in a great spot on the final restart but got caught up in the chaos, ultimately finishing 35th. This knocked Ault out of the Playoff conversation for now, but he’s still got five races to make up a gap that is not insurmountable, or potentially win a race as well.
