eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series | Power Rankings | Race 6 at Talladega Superspeedway
April 21st, 2025 by Justin Melillo
The Rock belonged to William Byron eSports two weeks ago, as Nick Ottinger scored his first pole position of the year to kick things off, and Tucker Minter bookended the evening in victory lane. Minter, now a five-time winner in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, has a ticket to the 2025 eNASCAR Playoffs, but only was able to capture five of the possible 10 playoff points available at night’s end.
Those five other points belong to Channel 199’s Zack Novak, who is right on the precipice of a return to victory lane. Novak now has two-straight second place finishes, which enabled him to snatch the opening segment away from Atlassian Williams’ Parker White and Spire Motorsports’ Steven Wilson, who both had off nights.
With an entire segment’s worth of work to explore, and a trip to the great equalizer that is Talladega Superspeedway up next(a fixed-setup event, by the way), here’s how the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Power Rankings look after 200 laps around Rockingham Speedway.
TALLADEGA DRIVER POWER RANKINGS | Novak, Minter leap White after abysmal night at The Rock
An unorthodox start to the events at The Rock led to some of the many favorites in the field finding trouble early on. As Ottinger spun the tires, Kanaan Esports’ Vicente Salas was forced to check up, which forced Novak to stack, and it led to a multi-car pileup before the entire field could even take the green flag. White was among the casualties, as was his teammate, Donovan Strauss, as well as a few others.
When the racing did return, the green flag racing was plentiful, and it was HYAK Motorsports’ Dylan Ault out in front of BS+COMPETITION’s Jordy Lopez, followed by Novak, Wilson, and Minter. Ault led a good majority of the opening stint, but after contact with Lopez and the wall, both would fall back and out of contention. An errant caution in the middle of the first pit cycle, a wreck which included Spire Motorsports’ Femi Olatunbosun attempting to pit and Team Dillon Esports’ Taylor Hurst not heeding the warning, shook up the order immensely.
When the day was said and over with, Minter was on top, Novak was second, Wilson was down in 18th due to falling off strategy, and White was damaged and two laps down in 35th. Minter’s drive has him back inside the top-three of the Power Rankings since post-Daytona, and should Talladega fall his way, could potentially be a threat to take that throne from Wilson. This does mark the furthest down that the defending series champion, White, has been all year. If Wilson wasn’t a threat to win again before his pit strategy misfortunes, he might not still be leading.
Kollin Keister (Jim Beaver eSports) nabbed a solid sixth place finish, moving him back inside the top-10 in points, giving him hope that he could continue to chase a championship by utilizing his Las Vegas win towards a playoff berth. Just ahead of Keister, the two Vegas Inferno drivers, Michael Guest and Malik Ray, both scored their best finishes in a minute, vaulting Ray back into the top-10 in points as well as the Power Rankings.
Perhaps the most impressive run came from RFK Racing’s Collin Bowden, however. Bowden, who has not made many waves yet in the 2025 season, looked like the driver to beat at times during the 200-lapper. Bowden led 23 laps after climbing from the 30th starting spot. He barely squeaks into the Power Rankings for the first time, in a tie for 20th with the JR Motorsports rookie driver Blake McCandless, who had his own career day in finishing 11th.
Speaking of the rookies, Letarte Esports’ Connor Yeroschak was able to collect his first-career top-10 finish at The Rock. He’s still one top-10 behind Team Dillon Esports’ Blaze Crawford, and two points as well. Crawford (17th), Yeroschak (19th), and McCandless (T-20th) all make this week’s Power Rankings, while HYAK Motorsports’ Quentin Warman falls out after another dismal day.

TALLADEGA TEAM POWER RANKINGS | Channel 199 Sim Racing stocks rising entering site of Duval’s last win
Despite Wilson’s inopportune pit and Olatunbosun’s collection in the mid-race yellow, both drivers still managed top-half-of-the-field finishes and remain on top of the Team Points Standings, which ultimately keeps them on top of the Team Power Rankings as well. There’s a new number two, however, and it includes Driver 2, Zack Novak’s team—Channel 199 Sim Racing.
Now, just because Novak is having a year, doesn’t mean the whole team should be ranked second. Dylan Duval, the defending Talladega winner, has finally awoken, and has two top-10 finishes in the last three races to show for it. Duval now sits 11th in points after finishing last season abysmally and starting off this season at Daytona in the same place. A 13th at Las Vegas, ninth at Interlagos, and now a season-best seventh at The Rock has the Travis Pastrana-affiliated outlet with the fastest rising stocks entering Talladega.
Of course, the Vegas Inferno, with a double top-five finish, had a huge jump up the order. The former third-place-ranked team now reenters the top-five again, following Minter’s team, William Byron eSports, back into the conversation for the Team Championship.
Granted, if the cautions fell in favor of Wilson, or at least didn’t fall when they did, we could be discussing a fourth win for the Spire Motorsports entry and 2023 series champion. The driver and the team will both stay on top for now, but Wilson (and Olatunbosun for the team as a whole) will need a solid run at Talladega to stay there, more than likely.
