The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns to oval track racing at Dover Motor Speedway on Tuesday night. 40 of the top-ranked eNASCAR drivers are set to take on the “Monster Mile” for the sixth race of the 2024 season, returning to the regular race format with 120-laps scheduled.

Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 30 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Last Race: Two weeks ago, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series made its maiden voyage to Brands Hatch Circuit in England for the first of two road course races on the calendar. Parker White took the pole position, but with the special Sprint and Main race format, the top eight drivers inverted after qualifying, landing Steven Wilson on the front row. Wilson won the Sprint, but there wouldn’t be points paid until the end of the Main event. Wilson led the field again, but had an early challenge from Vicente Salas. The two collided on the second lap, sending Salas down the order and moving Bobby Zalenski into the second spot. Just after halfway, Zalenski made his move to get by Wilson. Salas recovered to get back to Wilson’s bumper by the last lap, but ultimately wound up fifth.

Last Year: For the first time since 2018, Dover played a crucial role in setting the stage for the Championship 4, holding a playoff date in the center of the 2023 eNASCAR Playoffs. Coming into the race, 2020 and 2022 Dover winner Nick Ottinger was looking to punch his ticket to the NASCAR Hall of Fame with a third win in a row at the concrete oval. He had yet to win to this point, entering the playoffs as the only playoff driver without a victory. Leading 38 laps, Ottinger held off Wilson and Garrett Lowe to punch his ticket to the Championship 4.

Track Facts: Also known as The Monster Mile, Dover Motor Speedway is a concrete oval that measures a mile in length, with 24 degrees of banking in the corners and even nine degrees of banking on the straightaway. Opened in 1969, it was originally asphalt, but since 1995, it’s been one of only three concrete tracks on the NASCAR schedule. It’s known as a “self-cleaning” speedway, because when the wrecks happen, they might be big, but they’ll usually end up rolling to the bottom of the banking. The Delaware track has appeared on the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Trucks Series schedules through the years.

Next Race: Following Dover, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will return to the jungle known as Talladega Superspeedway for the third drafting track race on the 2024 schedule. It was Casey Kirwan who won there a season ago, passing his now-teammate Malik Ray in the closing moments of the race with a huge shove from Collin Bowden. Talladega will mark the halfway point of the second Segment as well.
