NiSWC champion Ray Alfalla is slated to test a Mazda MX5 at Homestead.

Two time NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Champion Ray Alfalla is set to make his debut in a race car on Saturday, May 25 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, courtesy of fellow iRacer Ernie Francis Jr.  The youngest driver in the Pirelli World Challenge, the 15 year old Francis is making his Breathless Performance Products Mazda Miata available to Alfalla for a test session on the Homestead-Miami Speedway road course.

Alfalla is no stranger to Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Francis, who uses iRacing primarily for testing purposes, leads the points in the Pirelli World Challenge TCB (Touring Car B) competition following a clean sweep of last weekend’s triple-header at Circuit of the Americas.  Alfalla, age 24, has won nine races, two titles and $21,000 in NiSWC competition and is hoping this weekend’s test will prove to be the next step in his effort to transition to a professional racing career.

Francis is helping a fellow iRacer take the next step.
