iRacing announced today that they have added Paymentwall, global payments platform, as a new payment option for the customers of the world’s leading online racing game.
“We are thrilled to add Paymentwall to our existing list of payment options. Many iRacers around the world have asked us to add more payment options that are used in their native country,” said iRacing.com President Anthony Gardner. “With Paymentwall, we just added 130 new options!”
iRacers can already use Paymentwall to pay with credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), prepaid cards (PaySafeCard, EcoPayz, MINT), and over 100 gift cards from major brands including Apple, Starbucks, Walmart, Target, Subway, Burger King, and Circle K.
The world’s leading centralized racing game platform, iRacing.com goes to extraordinary lengths to simulate real racing for its enthusiastic customer base across a wide range of motorsport, from stock and sports cars to open wheel, sedan and showroom stock racing. iRacing is home to hundreds of private leagues as well as dozens of official series, many of which run in partnerships with the world’s foremost professional racing organizations, including NASCAR, INDYCAR, IMSA, SRO Blancpain, and the V8 SuperCar series.
iRacing.com, which has had over 200,000 members known as “sim racers” join since 2008, is available 24/7 to join or race. After completing a user-friendly enrollment process on their personal computers, iRacers in more than 150 countries compete against one another from their homes using an inexpensive gaming racing wheel/pedal set connected to their PCs.
“Being a big fan of Racing Simulations myself, we are very excited to partner with one of the most prestigious companies in this sector,” said Manuel Prinz, Paymentwall’s Strategic Partnership Manager. “iRacing’s clients will now benefit from an entirely localized checkout and can subscribe or make in-game purchases with the payment options they like.”
Paymentwall is a highly secure payment platform that includes over 130 payment options covering 200 countries and 75 currencies. Over 90,000 companies, as well as more than 150 million consumers worldwide, trust Paymentwall as an integrated payment solution for their products and services.
