Road to eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series to evolve and simplify for 2026 season
January 31st, 2025 by Official Release
On Friday, eNASCAR and iRacing announced the latest evolution in the path to making the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series—a simplified structure that is easier to follow on the road to the top-level eSports division.
Starting in 2026, there will be one simplified eNASCAR Qualifying Series. The top-20 drivers from the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season standings will retain their license and spot in the 2026 driver pool as usual. Everyone else will need to contest the new Qualifying Series season, which is preliminarily scheduled to begin in February and end in April.
The new eNASCAR Qualifying Series schedule will likely consist of around 11 races, to be held weekly on Tuesday nights besides the March build week.
Top finishing drivers from the 2026 eNASCAR Qualifying Series season will be added to the driver pool for the 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series.
The former process involved three separate seasons, dubbed the Road to Pro ladder, which would normally start at the same time as the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series with Qualifying Round 1, a second Qualifying Round 2, and the Contender Series which incorporated top Qualifying drivers with relegated Coca-Cola Series drivers from the prior season.
The move to have one simplified Qualifying Series season means that the Coca-Cola iRacing Series schedule will shift to a mid-year start, with the first race preliminarily set for May 2026. The 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will also still be in its normal Tuesday night slot, with a season that will contest until October, with the possibility of races scheduled back-to-back as well, besides on the build weeks.
More details regarding the process, including the number of drivers that will advance, the tracks on the schedule, and more of the finer details of the series, will be determined and announced as we get closer to next season.
Tune in on Tuesday, February 11th, for the start of the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season at Daytona International Speedway. Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET, with the Countdown to Green leading the show in at 7:30 p.m. ET on eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels.
