For the second-straight season at Nashville Superspeedway, as well as the second time in-a-row in the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season, Tucker Minter wound up scoring the victory on Tuesday night in convincing fashion.

After what would be a caution-free night at the 1.33-mile concrete oval in Lebanon, Tennessee, the William Byron eSports driver claimed his third win on the year, all taking place in the last four races on the schedule, as Minter led the final quarter of the race for what would become his seventh-career victory in series history.

Minter had to wrestle it away from Steven Wilson (Spire Motorsports), another three-time winner this season, as well as hold off another former champion of the series in Ryan Luza (fgrAccel), the pole sitter and most-laps-leader on the night at 37. Bobby Zalenski (ERA eSports) rounded out the podium.

“I’ll tell you what,” Minter started during post-race media availability. “We might have to run this Eagle Logitech G machine for the rest of the year at the rate we’re going. I’m super proud of everything William Byron eSports has put together this year. We had a great time over the weekend at the Coke 600 with them, and I’m just super pumped right now.”

Minter extends his points lead over Wilson to 11 points with only six races to go in the 2025 eNASCAR Regular Season. As far as Segment 2 is concerned, however, Minter is tied with Wilson for second, the pair trailing the Talladega winner, Zalenski by 10 points with only one race to go at Kansas Speedway next week.

THE EVENT

Steven Wilson entered the evening with his longest losing streak of the season, four races since his last win at Richmond Raceway all the way back at the beginning of April. Ryan Luza, meanwhile, hasn’t visited eNASCAR victory lane since September 13th, 2022, a span of 987 days. At an early glance, with Luza scoring his first pole position since Atlanta in 2024, he was in prime position to end his winless streak.

Wilson also looked to be in a great spot, starting fourth, his closest fellow winner on the season being Tucker Minter down in the 16th starting spot. Besides Wilson and Minter, the rest of the drivers in the top-17 starting spots were searching for their first win of the season, and a ticket to the eNASCAR Playoffs later this year.

Luza led the field to the green, and from there, the field began to settle out for the 100 lap event. Should the race go caution-free, a pit stop around halfway would likely be the best strategy, depending on what the rest of the field was up to. A caution-free race was not likely, but also was not completely impossible—it all was dependent on the way the drivers handled themselves throughout the 40-car pack.

The pack did surely have its moments. As Luza and Wilson traded the lead, the pack began to accordion throughout the opening stint. Nate Stewart (Jim Beaver eSports) and Donovan Strauss (Atlassian Williams Sim Racing) collided and nearly brought out a caution. A few laps later, Daniel Faulkingham (Six Karma) was sent head-first into the wall after contact with Kollin Keister (Jim Beaver eSports), ending the hopes of the former early on. The wreck wasn’t enough to trigger a yellow, and the race continued onward.

A few more close calls—one involving Michael Guest (Vegas Inferno), Taylor Hurst (Team Dillon Esports), and Tyler Garey (eRacr), and another involving Alexander Russell (Kanaan Esports) and Blake McCandless (JR Motorsports)—made for interesting strategies to be formed before halfway in the race. The pit cycle officially opened on Lap 48 with Michael Cosey Jr (ERA eSports) pitting for fuel and tires before anyone else. The rest of the field began to follow.

Minter opted to pit on Lap 53, the first of the eventual players for the win to do so. The next time by, Wilson led Vicente Salas (Kanaan Esports) and Casey Kirwan (Kansas City Pioneers) down the lane. Kirwan went a step further and opted to take only right side tires, handing him the cycle lead for a good amount of time.

Lap 55 saw Luza and Zack Novak (Channel 199 Sim Racing) come down for service. The last of the eventual potential winners, Bobby Zalenski opted to pit on Lap 56.

Hoping for a caution, Hurst, McCandless, and hometown hero Briar LaPradd (JR Motorsports) opted to run it long, hoping for an opportune caution before they had to pit that would give them an advantage in the running order. That caution never came, and the trio were pitted by the end of Lap 75.

Kirwan led the cycle until about Lap 62, his two-tire call reportedly kneecapped due to taking slightly too much fuel. Wilson and Minter were both able to get by. Luza, meanwhile, was relegated back to sixth in line, behind those three, Garrett Lowe (BS+COMPETITION), and Salas in fifth. Eventually, the pack began to condense, and it was Minter taking control on Lap 76.

As Minter pulled away, Wilson, Salas, and Luza became locked in a battle for second place. Luza, frustrated over the radio about the hold up from the two, nearly wrecked out of Turn 4 while racing Salas for second place. Salas had gotten up and smacked the wall, and the two barely avoided catastrophe. Zalenski had caught the pack and was gunning for second, but wound up settling for third, unable to catch Luza.

Had there been a few more laps, Luza did have a slight tire advantage. It didn’t matter, as no cautions or extra laps came. Minter held on to take the win over Luza by more than half-a-second.

With only one race to go in the second segment, Bobby Zalenski leads Minter and Wilson by 10 points, with Donovan Strauss and Casey Kirwan having outside chances to claim the Segment back in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Novak’s team, Channel 199 Sim Racing, leads the Team Points in part thanks to Novak’s sixth place finish and teammate Dylan Duval’s 12th place efforts. Spire Motorsports and Atlassian Williams Sim Racing are both right on Channel 199’s heels, both outfits having enough points to potentially leap frog to the front with solid runs at Kansas Speedway next week. In the rookie battle, Blaze Crawford (Team Dillon Esports) finished 21st, his lead over Connor Yeroschak (Letarte Esports) shrinking to 14 points leaving Nashville.

Nearing the halfway mark of this busy six-race run in seven weeks, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns next week with the 40-best eNASCAR competitors taking on the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in Kansas City, Kansas. This marks the first race at Kansas Speedway since the 2022 season, that race won by Garrett Lowe back when he ran for the Wood Brothers in the series.

The ninth round on the calendar, and the final round of Segment 2, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3rd. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET for the Countdown to Green. Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels.
