The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series continues the 2025 season on Tuesday night with the 10th race on the calendar at Iowa Speedway.

After an off-week for the iRacing 2025 Season 3 build, the series returns with the fourth of six races in seven weeks, and the 40 of the best eNASCAR drivers in the world are looking to add a win to their résumé at the 7/8-mile oval in Newton, Iowa. Steven Wilson grabbed the inaugural win at the venue last season. This marks the beginning of Segment 3. Segment 2 was won by Steven Wilson after his victory at Kansas Speedway.

Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 30 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:30 p.m. ET.

RACE FORMAT

Once again in 2025, Iowa’s festivities will include a pair of heat races to set the lineup for the main event. First, drivers will qualify as normal, but it will matter if you qualify in an odd or even position. Two 30-lap heats are scheduled with up to 20 drivers taking part in each, with the odd-number positioned drivers racing in the first and the evens in the second.

The top-10 finishers in each heat will get the equivalent of what NASCAR does for stage points, where the winner gets 10 points and 10th place gets one. The results also determine how the drivers line up in the feature, with Heat 1 determining the inside row and Heat 2 determining the outside.

The main race will be 90 laps in distance. A driver could collect up to 50 points tonight as opposed to the normal maximum of 40 points. This format was also in play at Richmond earlier this season.

LAST RACE

Two weeks ago, the series contested Kansas Speedway for the first time since 2022, and after a late restart, Spire Motorsports’ Steven Wilson was able to get back around William Byron eSports’ Tucker Minter to take back the wins lead on the 2025 season for himself. Wilson, Minter, Atlassian Williams’ Parker White, and the Kansas City Pioneers’ Casey Kirwan all fought amongst one another for the victory in the ninth race of the season. White led the most laps, Kirwan led late, but when it came down to it, it was Wilson versus Minter on the final lap. Minter wasn’t able to catch back up and Wilson was able to take another win.

LAST TIME

Last year at Iowa, the Hawkeye himself, Steven Wilson, was able to take on two of his fastest rivals in the 2024 season, Graham Bowlin and Parker White, to win the inaugural points-paying race at the 7/8-mile oval. Featuring the short track format, Wilson earned the pole and Bowlin earned outside front row from winning their respective heats, but Bowlin took control and led the majority of the way, leading 70 of the 96 laps during the main event. Wils0n would not be denied, however, as he was able to muscle his way back to the front for the victory.

TRACK FACTS

Opened in September 2006, Iowa Speedway is one of the most unique short tracks in America. The 7/8-mile, D-shaped oval, designed with the aid of former NASCAR champion Rusty Wallace, features progressive banking in the corners and 10 degrees of banking on the frontstretch. This track has hosted multiple NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series dates from 2009 to 2019, and it remains a staple of the ARCA Menards Series, NTT IndyCar Series, and NASCAR Cup Series schedule again in 2025.

NEXT RACE

Following Iowa, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will continue its run of six races in seven weeks with the 11th round of the 2025 season at Dover Motor Speedway on June 24th. Last year, the Steven Wilson versus Tucker Minter rivalry truly began as the two went toe-to-toe for the victory. Perhaps a common theme in this race preview, but it was Wilson who came out on top.
