2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series begins September 19th
September 4th, 2026 by Justin Melillo
The Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series returns on September 19th. 32 drivers have qualified for the World Championship following each region’s five-race championship to determine their top-eight qualifiers. A five-race Global Championship is up next to determine the best in the world, the champion taking home $10,000 and a chance at a real-world drive through the Porsche Shootout.
Since the end of June, the four regions (Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Middle East & Africa) have competed in pairs every other Saturday, with the Americas and Middle East & Africa regions contesting the odd-numbered weekends, and the Europe and Asia-Pacific regions contesting the even-numbered weekends in the 10-week Regional program.
Xander Reed (Americas), Patrick Kessel (MEA), Charlie Collins (Europe), and Dayne Warren (APAC) were the four Regional Champions. Mitchell deJong and Gustavo Ariel were also winners in the Americas region this season, while Dylan Allen scored a win in the Middle East & Africa region.
The Europe region offered the most parity with the highest caliber, as Collins only scored two wins, the other three belonging to Florian Lebigre, Alejandro Sanchez, and Sebastian Job. Over in the Asia-Pacific region, Warren scored a perfect score, a maximum of 300 points for five poles and five wins, even more impressive considering he did it against the defending World Champion from the 2025 season, Cooper Webster.
Luke McKeown and Gustavo Ariel are among the names to make their return, as is the 2022 World Champion, Diogo Pinto. Pinto and Webster will both seek their second Porsche Esports Supercup World Championships, while Job is set to compete for his third.
The season starts at Spa-Francorchamps, and will visit other historical venues around the globe to round out the five-race schedule, with Silverstone, Suzuka, Interlagos, and Monza rounding out the calendar. Races will be available to watch at 3:00 p.m. ET / 19:00 GMT / 21:00 CEST over on the Porsche Twitch channel, twitch.tv/porsche, or on the official iRacing Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook channels.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACE AND POINTS FORMAT
The standard Porsche Esports Supercup format is back in play for the World Championship. Racedays will be broken up into three key segments—Qualifying, the Sprint Race, and the Main Race. A total of 85 points are on the line on any given Saturday, with 10 points available to the pole winner, 25 points for the Sprint Race winner, and 50 points for the Main Race winner.
Points are only handed out to the five highest finishing drivers in Qualifying, with the pole sitter taking the maximum of 10, second place eight points, all the way down to fifth place scoring two points. The Sprint Race pays out to the top-20 finishers, with the winner taking 25 points, second 22 points, and 20th scoring just a single point. As for the Main Race, the top-25 earn points, 50 going to the winner, 45 to second place, then just one point down in 25th with it broken down by tiered gaps in between.

As usual, there will be an invert in play in between the Sprint Race and Main Race. With a top-eight invert, the eighth place finisher from the Sprint becomes the Main Race pole sitter, while the Sprint Race winner is sent to start in eighth for the Main, the other positions in between also inverting. Sprint Races will be about 15 minutes in length, while Mains will be about 30 minutes.
