2026-27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series | Big Apple Battle at Watkins Glen | Time Attack Results
October 26th, 2026 by Justin Melillo
From October 20th to October 25th, over 200 eligible collegiate iRacers took to Watkins Glen International in hopes of qualifying for the third Tournament of the 2026-27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series season, presented by Logitech G. Dubbed the Big Apple Battle, 100 students have qualified for the upcoming third Tournament on October 28th.
This Tournament is slightly different from the rest so far. The first two saw oval racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks. This Tournament, in association with IMSA, the students will compete in the Ford Mustang GT4.
For the third-straight Tournament, Sacramento State’s Dylan Ault set the quickest time in the Time Attack and enters as the No. 1 seed. The University of Georgia’s Avery Mendoza takes second seed, and will be the top seeded driver in Group 2. Calgary’s Connor Yeroschak (7th seed) will look to turn his season around, and the IMSA Esports eNASCAR College Showcase winner from Sunday, Michigan’s Joonsuh Lim (11th seed), is also in the mix.
Other notable names that will compete include the points leader, Tarrant County’s Jacob Wilkerson (24th seed), as is DeSales’ Brian Mercurio (10th seed) and Triton’s Adam Garza (14th seed), all listed in Group 2. The usual suspects like Daniel Nanney (Ball State, 18th seed), Nick Luetje (Purdue Indy, 19th seed), and the most-recent Tournament winner in the Queen City Crown, Timothy Holmes (Horry-Georgetown, 22nd seed) are all in the running as well.
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte once again tops the participation stat with 16 entries. There’s another UNC school, Greensboro, also entered this week with one of the best road esports racers on the platform right now, Grid-and-Go’s Sean Campbell, who is competing in the Porsche Esports Supercup and IMSA Esports championships.
Purdue at Indianapolis is sending seven students this time, while Belmont Abbey and Ball State both have four entries. The format stays the same as far as the Tournament structure, and Week 2’s Final Round will once again feature 40 students. Many of the same names are already at the top, but will we see some new faces competing for a College Series Tournament victory with these different cars?
