Call it the Michigan 582? 582 sim-racers made the tow to MIS for Week Eight of the NiCBS.

Week Eight of the NASCAR iRacing.com Class B Series headed north to Michigan International Speedway for some high speed online racing around the two mile oval.  With seven weeks down in the season, the points battle is starting to take shape between several drivers.  How would those guys fair during the week.

582 sim-racers took to the race track during the week.  Brandon Buie would lead those drivers in total points collected for the week with 319 points during two races.  Series point’s leader Simon Crochart finished the MIS week in second with 304 points during two races as well.  Wes Weidman was third followed by Andrew Shirley and Alex Scribner rounding out the top five.

Jerome Gustin led the series in starts for the week with 18.  Gustin took home two wins during his 18 starts, but Billy Weeks topped the series in wins with six and also set the standard in top fives with 13.

Crochart continues to lead the series standings following Michigan, and now enjoys a 131 point margin  Crochart over Scribner.  Ashley Miller sits third 303 points out of the lead followed by Tom Moustakas in fourth and Jeffery Parker in fifth.
