ABOUT THE iRACING HOMESTEAD CHAMPIONSHIP

Mirroring the real-world NASCAR Cup Series finale from Homestead-Miami Speedway, the iRacing Homestead Championship wraps up the 2026 NASCAR iRacing Series schedule. It’s the last of five full-length events in the championship, which mirrors the real-world NASCAR Cup Series campaign with 36 events throughout the year. The NASCAR iRacing Series runs from February through November. This race is run not in its own official series, but in the NASCAR iRacing Series, during those normal NiS times.

For the first time since 2019, Homestead-Miami Speedway will crown the real-world champions of the NASCAR Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and Craftsman Truck Series. This virtual event will mirror the Cup event, running the current NASCAR Cup Series cars at the current day edition of the Homestead-Miami venue, available in both fixed setup and open setup variety.

As it is in the real-world as well, full-season champions will be determined in both the Open and Fixed series. Shawn M Conklin has dominated the Open season, with 25 wins in 49 starts, participating in just 29 of the 25 race weeks so far, but doing so with nearly 1,700 points over second place Jacob Reid. As for the Fixed Series, things are a lot tighter and not yet fully locked down. Maximillion Bianco leads the way with four wins to his credit in 59 starts, but Nick Olsen is within 200 points, and could still take the title. With a Strength of Field high enough, Yuma Yao in third could also have a shot.

The race will be scheduled in the sim for November 8th at 3:00 pm with dynamic weather enabled. This event is open to iRacing members that have an Oval license at Class C or higher, or at Class D with a 4.0 Safety Rating. Splits will be determined by iRating. Splits can have up to 37 drivers, and a disqualification limit has been set at 25 incident points, or 25X, with a penalty to be served at 17X as per normal.
