Qualifying for the next round of eNASCAR College iRacing Series powered by NACE Starleague action at Michigan International Speedway is officially underway. Qualifying takes part under iRacing’s Time Attack mode, with a specially marked session running from today through January 16. The fastest collegiate iRacers who have registered for eligibility will be selected to compete in January 23’s 65-lap race, which will see a share of $60,000 in yearlong scholarship prizes handed out. This event will use the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series trucks.

The eNASCAR College iRacing Series powered by NACE Starleague sees top collegiate iRacers and esports athletes represent their respective colleges and universities while doing battle in top-level NASCAR vehicles. With only one driver allowed to race per school, and hundreds of drivers and schools looking to compete, the competition is fierce. The field is narrowed down from all Time Attack entries to 40 select drivers, who will do battle for a global streaming audience on eNASCAR.com/live on race day for their share of scholarship money.

To participate and attempt to qualify for the event, drivers must participate in both the official Time Attack session and register for eligibility (drivers who have registered for a previous event already do not need to register a second time). To turn your fastest lap, within the iRacing UI, click “Go Racing,” then “Time Attack Competitions,” and search for “eNASCAR College iRacing Series.”
