The inaugural iRacing Off-Road Championship Series season continues on Wednesday night, kicking off the second half of the campaign with a return to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. As always, the action can be seen live at 8:30PM ET on twitch.tv/iracing with the All-Star race, followed by 24 sim racing pros doing battle for $25,000 at 9PM ET.

Last Race: Team General Tire’s Cam Pedersen scored his third win in seven tries in the first round of last week’s event at Bark River International Raceway, benefitting from the eight-truck invert to remain the series’ only repeat winner so far. In the second feature, real-world rallycross driver Tommi Hallman of SET Esports led most of the race, but Williams Esports driver Josh Fox would nip him at the line by just .039 seconds.

Previous Event: It was an all-Canadian winner’s circle in the first iRacing Off-Road round at Wild Horse Pass, with iRacing World of Outlaws legend Alex Bergeron taking the first checkered flag for Team ABR and Jim Beaver eSports’ Felix Roy securing the second. Connor Barry and Josh Edmundson split the two runner-up finishes on the race, while Factory Simsport driver and current points leader Keaton Swane was third in both features.

All-Stars: Real-world off-road drivers Luke Knupp and Zachary Drapkin remain the top drivers in the All-Star division, finishing 1-2 in the first of two races last week at Bark River, but eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series driver Blake Reynolds scored his first win of the season from 16th on the grid in the second. The field takes on its third different vehicle of the campaign on Wednesday night, utilizing the Volkswagen Beetle Lite rallycross car for a battle inspired by the iconic vintage Class 11 for original Beetles.

Track Info: Arizona’s Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park is the shortest track on the iRacing Off-Road schedule, and was one of the first two tracks to debut when iRacing introduced short course racing in 2019. It was a longtime staple of the west coast short course racing calendar over the past decade, challenging drivers with tight corners and tricky whoop sections. The multi-purpose facility also hosts NHRA and Nitro Rallycross events, and its road course was a longtime host of IndyCar preseason testing—including Ayrton Senna’s lone IndyCar test in 1992.

The iRacing Off-Road Championship Series is supported by CBR Performance Products, Vision Wheel, and Big Green Egg. For more information on iRacing and for special offers, visit www.iracing.com.
