Logan Clampitt won the finale of the Mazda Hot Lap Challenge in a winner take all race last night. He earned himself and a guest a VIP trip and experience at the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona for his efforts. Clampitt qualified on pole and was in the lead pack for the entire race, swapping positions in the draft multiple times over the 15 lap shootout on the Daytona road course. Clampitt edged out Robert Hartley by a mere 0.094 seconds to take the victory.

Clampitt, a California native, will join the at track qualifier, Chuck Mayer, at Daytona as they battle for the grand prize – a test in a real Global Mazda MX-5 Cup car. The two champions will compete for the fastest lap at a live shootout at the Rolex 24.
