The Bootleg Racing League kicked-off Season 3 of 2016 on Saturday night introducing Lawrence Towing as the title sponsor for the Outlaw Modified Series.  The anticipation was high as the outlaw simracers rolled into Martinsville Speedway to open the season.

Brian Neff was slated to start on the pole for the season opener and used that starting position to his advantage as he dominated the event, leading from start to finish.  Lowell Jewell had a strong opening race finishing right behind Neff in the second position while last season’s points runner-up Donny Moore brought his machine home in third.

Neff opened the season with a flag to flag victory.

“You know it was a big bonus getting to start on the pole” said Neff after the race.  “I really like the flat tracks.”

The Lawrence Towing Outlaw Modifieds head to Oxford Plains Speedway next Saturday night for Round 2 of the season.  Tune in to the Global SimRacing Channel‘s broadcast on iRacing Live at 9:15est to catch all the simracing action.
