From May 22nd to May 24th, the Sim Racing Expo lands for the first time in Charlotte, North Carolina. In conjunction with eNASCAR, PlayVS, iRacing, and the Sim Racing Expo, collegiate students have a chance to compete in the eNASCAR College Sim Racing Expo Showdown for both prizes and bragging rights, with the race broadcasted in front of the Sim Racing Expo crowd!
From May 11th to May 18th (at 11:59 pm ET), eligible students can take on iRacing Charlotte Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks through the iRacing Time Attack. The top-40 students from the Time Attack will be invited to race in the main event on Sunday, May 24th at 12:05pm ET. The race winner will take home a Wheel and Pedal Bundle by Logitech, some iRacing credits, and a personalized trophy! Second and third place will also earn iRacing credits.
REGISTRATION TO SIM RACING EXPO SHOWDOWN:
To sign-up for the 2026 eNASCAR College Sim Racing Expo Showdown, all Drivers must complete the registration form HERE.
Drivers that registered for the 2025-26 eNASCAR College iRacing Series powered by PlayVS College League are automatically registered and eligible to compete. This form is the same form that will be used to register for the 2026-27 collegiate season.
Any Driver that is not already pre-registered or does not complete the registration form but still participates in an in-game Time Attack event will not be considered eligible to qualify for the event.
SIM RACING EXPO SHOWDOWN TIME ATTACK DETAILS:
To earn a spot in the Showdown, Drivers must participate in the corresponding in-game Time Attack event and post one of the fastest 40 eligible lap times.
This in-game Time Attack event will last for 7 days, from May 11th to May 18th, with the cutoff set for 11:59pm ET. Drivers may participate an unlimited number of times during that time, with only their fastest lap counting towards qualification.
HOW TO COMPETE IN AN IRACING TIME ATTACK:
To participate in an in-game Time Attack event:
- Open iRacing
- On the left bar click “Go Racing”
- Click “Time Attack Competitions”
- Search for “Sim Racing Expo eNASCAR Collegiate Showcase”
- Click “Drive Now”
