iRacing presents the Race for More 2.4 Benefiting the National MS Society on August 3

For the third consecutive year, iRacing and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will team up for a multi-class team racing event for charity. iRacing presents the Race for More 2.4 Benefiting the National MS Society will head to the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans on Thursday, August 3, with donations accepted from now through the duration of the event at https://mssociety.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=1663.

This year’s event will be 2.4 hours long and feature three vehicle classes: GTP (featuring the BMW M Hybrid V8 and Cadillac V-Series.R), GT1 (Aston Martin DBR9 and Chevrolet Corvette C6.R), and the Toyota GR86. As with past events, competitors will have unlimited fast repairs to use to complete the event as they organize their own donations, and purchasable advantages will be available for donations to the National MS Society.

Race splits will begin with the broadcast split on Thursday, August 3 at 8PM ET (midnight GMT), and will continue with additional time slots at 10:00 GMT, 18:00 GMT, and 3:00 GMT (August 4). The broadcast split will once again feature iRacing executive vice president Steve Myers, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion crew chief and NASCAR Garage 56 project leader Chad Knaus, and 2020 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series champion Nick Ottinger.

The National MS Society focuses on finding a cure for multiple sclerosis while enabling those affected by MS to live fulfilling lives. Founded in 1946 by Sylvia Lawry, the organization has facilitated countless breakthroughs in MS research over more than 75 years of devoted fundraising and advocacy efforts. The National MS Society also provides resources and support to the millions of Americans with MS to counter its effects on their lives.
