A third different driver in the 2025-26 World of Outlaws iRacing Pro Series season crossed the line first at Williams Grove Speedway on Monday night. Already a two-time Heat race winner in the first two events, Mason Hannagan managed to forego them this week, qualifying into the top-eight, transferring not only to the Feature immediately, but to the pole position through the invert. From there, Hannagan laid down a master class to score his first career series win.

“I’ve done this deal for, like, four years, and I get stomped on every time,” Hannagan began post-race. “It’s just huge, like, iRacing shouldn’t get you emotional, but I take it pretty realistic. You can go from the real world to this, and this stuff is really competitive. The gaps are so small. You can’t afford to make an error. We had a tune-up race last night, and we pretty much finished in the same order there… I just had to set my own pace.”

Joining last week’s winner at Huset’s, Landon Cardoza, there have now been two new winners across the three races so far. The only winner with a win prior to this season was the opening round winner at Volusia, Alex Bergeron. None of those names lead the standings, however. Tanner Pettit, with two top-fives, three top-10s, and now two quick-time laps in qualifying, leads the way after three races.

QUALIFYING

During the regular races in the 2025-26 World of Outlaws iRacing Pro Series season, 22 drivers will qualify for each Feature race. Eight of those spots are filled almost immediately through Qualifying, where the first 25 points of the night are on the line. Setting quick time will earn 25 points, but will invert that driver to starting eighth in the Feature, whereas eighth will invert to the pole position, but only collect 17 points. Everyone from ninth on back in Qualifying are to be split into four equal Heat races.

For the second week in-a-row, Pettit set the quick time during qualifying, earning 25 points before slotting in at eighth on the starting grid for the Feature. In eighth, Hannagan would invert to the pole position, collecting 17 points as well.

Qualifying Transfers:

  1. Tanner Pettit
  2. Aiden Forster
  3. Joey Lingron
  4. Alex Bergeron
  5. Ryan Avila
  6. Noah Carpenter
  7. Blake Carrick
  8. Mason Hannagan

HEAT RACES

In the four Heat races, up to eight drivers compete for eight laps, the top-three finishers advancing to the Feature later in the night. Points are awarded to the finishing positions in each Heat, that way all 40 drivers walk away with something for making the show. Heat winners earn 15 points, while eighth place finishers only claim eight points. The 20 drivers that don’t advance to the Feature through Qualifying or the Heats are sent to one of the two Last Chance Shootout races.

Joel Smith, Kenny Hoffman, and Chase Stewart won the first three Heat races without too much of a problem. All eyes were on the fourth and final Heat, however, with some of the biggest names duking it out for the final three spots before the Last Chance Showdowns. Chayce Wolfe, Tyler Schell, and Cardoza all managed to keep it in one piece and transfer on, but that left the defending series champion, Logan Rumsey, as well as names such as Dylan Yeager and JD Brown fighting for just one of two remaining spots in the LCS races.

Heat 1 Transfers:

  1. Joel M Smith
  2. John S Helms
  3. Blake Matjoulis

Heat 2 Transfers:

  1. Kenny Hoffman
  2. Braden Eyler
  3. Aiden Price

Heat 3 Transfers:

  1. Chase Stewart
  2. Timothy S Smith
  3. Kadyn N Berry

Heat 4 Transfers:

  1. Chayce T Wolfe
  2. Tyler Schell
  3. Landon Cardoza

LAST CHANCE SHOWDOWNS

The final shot to race in the Feature is by winning one of the two Last Chance Showdown races. These races include up to 10 cars each, but only the winner can move on. There are no points awarded in these races.

Bradley Cox was able to gap the field and win the first of the two LCS races. The second saw Rumsey go to battle with Connor Dudek, the two throwing sliders. Rumsey was able to get the lead, but had to slow up on the slide to leave a lane to the outside for Dudek not to run him over. The two still managed to make contact, ultimately ending Dudek’s chances and allowing for Rumsey to make the main event.

Last Chance Showdown Transfers:

  1. Bradley Cox
  2. Logan Rumsey

FEATURE RACE

The best place to be is out front, and Mason Hannagan used that to his advantage in the Williams Grove feature. From the inverted pole position, Hannagan pulled out to a lead while the fight raged on behind. Blake Carrick, Ryan Avila, Joey Lingron, and more were sending it two, three, and even four-wide into the wide corners around the Grove. The longer straights allowed for the different lines to come into play through the night, but the top spot was the place to be, for sure.

A caution on Lap 5 bunched the field back up, that wreck involving Aiden Price, Braden Eyler and Joel Smith, the latter two unable to continue. The second caution on Lap 11 involved the previous race winner, Cardoza, as he got tagged by Wolfe and spun around. Almost immediately on the ensuing restart, Helms went around after contact with Schell, bringing out the third and final caution on Lap 12. The race would resume and go green to the end, but drivers such as Timothy Smith, a former Williams Grove winner, would not make it to the end. Chase Stewart would also fail to finish.

Up front, Hannagan led the field back to green as the field fought for second once again. Lingron, Carrick, and Avila now had Pettit in the conversation, along with Bergeron. Meanwhile, Rumsey, from shotgun on the field, was aiming to break into the top-1o. Rumsey would settle for 11th, while Pettit’s charge would only get him up to third behind Lingron, who finished second. Across the line, Hannagan claimed his first checkered flag.

Consistency has Tanner Pettit now on top of the standings after three races, two of which he was able to score the quick time and earn a full 25 points in qualifying. Cardoza, the leader entering Williams Grove, falls to fifth after recovering to finish in 15th. Hannagan moves up to sixth, now just 45 points away from the top spot. Bergeron, the other winner on the season, is back up to third as he seeks another virtual World of Outlaws title.

There’s just one more race to go before the first Tournament of the season is scheduled to take place. The top-60 in the standings will be entered into that event before a break for the holidays and the return of the series in the Super Late Models to kick off the 2026 side of the schedule.

NEXT RACE

The World of Outlaws iRacing Pro Series returns next week with the fourth round of the 2025-26 season at Lincoln Speedway. The World of Outlaws iRacing Pro Qualifying Series opens up on Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET with its first of three races for the week, the other two at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday night and Thursday night. 40 drivers from the top of the standings will be invited to race in next week’s Pro Series event. Last year, Tanner Pettit was victorious at Lincoln in the 410 Sprint Car. Can he replicate that again and extend his points lead entering the first tournament?

The Pro Series action next Monday night starts at 8:00 p.m. ET and it will be live on DIRTVision and across all of iRacing’s social media channels.
