Welcome back to This Week in iRacing, our weekly post that details all you need to know about what is going on in the world of iRacing!

As always, This Week includes topics ranging from official eSports to some of the top community-driven events, and everything in between.

Here’s what to expect from 2025 Season 2, Week 6, from April 22nd to April 28th in 2025.

For the Members: iRacing Official Series Highlights

Every week, iRacing offers daily, even hourly racing that members can get into, based on where their license level is at. There are also some special series that run at specific times that anyone can jump into, with the right credentials, that offer a more meaningful sim racing experience.

Here are a few of the highlighted series taking place this week.

ROAD AMERICA 500 – iRACING SPECIAL EVENT!

The next special event for the 2025 calendar is the Road America 500. This iRacing special event is a throwback-style event. Travel back in time to an era of classic sports car racing with the Road America 500 that was revived as part of the IMSA GT Championship in 1979. Racers will get to experience the excitement racing the Nissan GTP ZX-T or the Audi 90 Quattro GTO.

This weekend, from April 25th to the 27th, there will be five chances to participate in the throwback road racing event. Team racing is enabled, but members can run the event solo if they choose.

PRODIGY RACING LEAGUE RADICAL SR8 CUP – PRODIGY PASSES AVAILABLE!

Two Prodigy Passes are up for grabs in the official iRacing Radical SR8 Cup series, featuring the Radical SR8. This fourth iRacing event of Season 2 runs from April 22nd to June 9th, ending with a three-race finale on June 22nd. Don’t miss your chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Prodigy Week and compete for a pro driver spot in the Prodigy Three Championship.

There are two qualifying paths to reach the Finals. The top-24 point finishers with a Racing Prodigy Membership (RPM) in the iRacing Racing Prodigy Radical SR8 Cup official series will advance to the Finals hosted by Racing Prodigy. The top-six point finishers with a Racing Prodigy Membership (RPM) in the Williams Gaming Club-hosted Racing Prodigy Radical SR8 Series of Time Attacks, which runs concurrently with the official iRacing series, starting April 22nd, will advance to the same Finals hosted by Racing Prodigy.

One Prodigy Pass will be awarded to the driver with the most total points in the Finals. One additional Prodigy Passes will be awarded by the Prodigy Search Committee to a standout driver among the top-25% of the series points who submits a video and answers to a questionnaire.

Week 1 of 7 will take place at VIRginia International Raceway – Full Course.

Sunday: 12:00 GMT, 16:00 GMT, and 21:00 GMT
Monday: 20:00 GMT and 23:00 GMT

NASCAR iRACING SERIES

Back again in 2025, the NASCAR iRacing Series (Open Setup and Fixed Setup) follows the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for a 36-week racing season. The series visits the tracks on the real-world schedule, utilizing the NASCAR Next Gen Stock Cars from Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota.

Week 10 of 36 will take place at Talladega Superspeedway.

The races this week are scheduled for:

Fixed Schedule: Wednesday, 21:00 GMT; Friday, 01:00 GMT; Saturday, 10:00 GMT and 16:00 GMT; Monday, 01:00 GMT
Open Schedule: Thursday, 01:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT; Saturday, 01:00 GMT; Sunday, 14:00 GMT

DIRT SUPER LATE MODEL TOUR

Modeled heavily after real-world events and featuring dozens of America’s top dirt tracks, the Dirt Super Late Model Tour features 39 weeks of championship racing in the Dirt Super Late Model.

Week 13 of 39 will take place at Port Royal Speedway.

DIRT 410 SPRINT CAR TOUR

Modeled heavily after real-world events and featuring dozens of America’s top dirt tracks, the Dirt 410 Sprint Car Tour features 37 weeks of championship racing in the Dirt 410 Sprint Car.

Week 11 of 37 will take place at Port Royal Speedway.

NASCAR MODIFIED TOUR

Modeled heavily after real-world events and featuring many of America’s top short tracks, the NASCAR Modified Tour features 21 weeks of championship racing in the NASCAR Whelen Tour Modified.

Week 6 of 21 will take place at Stafford Motor Speedway.

SUPER LATE MODEL TOUR

Modeled heavily after real-world events and featuring many of America’s top short tracks, the Super Late Model Tour features 23 weeks of championship racing in the Super Late Model.

Week 6 of 23 will take place at Irwindale Speedway.

VINTAGE GRAND PRIX TOUR

New for 2025, the iRacing Vintage Grand Prix Tour brings the Lotus 79 on a tour that loosely resembles the 1978 World Driver’s Championship.

Week 2 of 16 will take place at Autódromo José Carlos Pace – Grand Prix.

FIA F4 ESPORTS REGIONAL TOURS

The Regional and Global editions of the FIA F4 Esports Series returns returns in 2025 Season 2. All series will have racing every 30 minutes at :00 and :30 after.

Week 6 Schedule:

Americas: Portland International Raceway – Full Course
Asia-Pacific: Phillip Island Circuit
Europe: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya – Grand Prix
Global: Long Beach Street Circuit

RICMOTECH RING MEISTER / DRAFT MASTER CHALLENGE BY SIMAGIC COMBINATIONS

Two of the more unique daily racing series on iRacing are the Ring Meister Ricmotech Series and the Draft Master Challenge by SIMAGIC Series, where the cars change every week as opposed to the tracks. The setups are fixed in both series, which means it’s all about jumping in and racing the combination at hand.

The Ring Meister Ricmotech Series (Races on every hour on the hour | Qualifying every hour at :30) takes place at the Nürburgring Nordschleife – Industriefahrten and cycles through mostly road-type racing vehicles every week. As for Draft Master Challenge by SIMAGIC (races every hour on the hour), the series contests six weeks at Talladega Superspeedway and six weeks at Daytona International Speedway, featuring many common NASCAR-oval style cars.

Week 6 Schedule:

Ring Meister: GT4 Class at Nürburgring Nordschleife – Industriefahrten
Draft Master: NASCAR Craftsman Trucks at Talladega Superspeedway

RAIN MASTER

For wet weather racing enthusiasts, Rain Master is one of the latest Special Series available on iRacing. Introduced in 2024 Season 4, those looking for some fixed setup wet weather racing can now jump into select GT3 vehicles at 12 different road courses around the world.

The forecasts will include light rain throughout the short, 15 minute events. Races run every hour at 15 minutes past the hour.

Official iRacing eSports

As the year barrels through the spring and towards the summer months, just the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series is in play as far as the official iRacing eSports are concerned. Other series are planned for later in the year, but more information will become available at a later date.

eNASCAR COCA-COLA iRACING SERIES

The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway for the sixth round of the 2025 season. The second segment of the season begins with 70 laps around the 2.66-mile D-shaped oval in Alabama. Last season, Dylan Duval was victorious
