2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series | Race #1 | Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps | Preview

The Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series returns this Saturday, September 19th, featuring 32 of the best sim racers around the globe. Those 32 drivers all earned their seat through the Porsche Esports Supercup Regional Championships, where there were more than 100 drivers split among four regions vying for one of the region’s eight transfers to the World Championship.
Names such as two-time series champion, Sebastian Job, one-time series champion Diogo Pinto, and the most recent champion of the world, Cooper Webster, are all back to fight for glory against many other top names from those four regions, including Dayne Warren, Florian Lebigre, Charlie Collins, Alejandro Sanchez, Xander Reed, Patrick Kessel, Dylan Allen, Gustavo Ariel, and Mitchell deJong, all winners during the Regional Championships, all together now on one global stage.
Kessel, Allen, and 17 others will be making their debut at the top level on Saturday; a whopping 19 rookies are qualified to find their place among the greats, looking to be the next Joshua Rogers. Live streaming of the events will begin on Saturday at 19:00 GMT (3:00 p.m. ET) via Porsche’s channels on YouTube and Twitch.
2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series begins September 19th
LAST SEASON
The 2025 edition, with seven races on the board, had the two juggernauts of the series duking it out for top honors with their best competitors. On one side sat the Coanda Esports group, with former champion Jordan Caruso leading the charge, and on the other side was the Verstappen Sim Racing group, now forged together with Team Redline and Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing. Cooper Webster was among the many at the front of the field sporting the Red Bull colors.
It came down to a date at Le Mans, and all Webster needed to do was maintain the gap on Caruso. With a win in the Sprint to Caruso’s fifth place, Webster was able to nearly clinch the title, but one more race still loomed with the Feature. Webster wound up in a crash that almost saw his title chances slip away. Caruso had to win in any case, but by recovering to score six point in 20th, it didn’t matter, and Webster was able to celebrate as the World Champion.
LAST TIME AT SPA
The third round of the 2025 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship took the competition to the twists and turns of Spa-Francorchamps. While it was a Coanda driver in Mitchell deJong setting the quick time in qualifying, it would be the Red Bulls of Cooper Webster and Chris Lulham fighting to the front to take the Sprint race victory. After the invert, Luke McKeown found his way to the pole, but it was Sebastian Job taking control on the opening lap to score another victory for the Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing group.
SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS TRACK FACTS
Home to one of the most legendary corners in motorsports, the famed Eau Rouge, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps has played host to both the Belgian Grand Prix and Spa 24 Hours for the better part of the last century. The original track configurations were each more than eight miles long, while the current 4.3-mile, 20-turn layout began to take shape in 1979 and has only seen relatively slight alterations since.

After Spa, the Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship heads to Silverstone Circuit for the second round of the season. The events are scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, and will be live starting at 19:00 GMT (3:00 p.m. ET) via Porsche’s channels on YouTube and Twitch.
