Volkswagen Jetta TDi

With a turbocharged, intercooled, two liter, inline four cylinder engine putting-out numbers like 168 bhp and 280 ft/lb of torque @1900 to 2500 rpm, the VW Jetta TDi has all the performance you could ask from a small sedan.  The VW features a six-speed, double-clutch, automatic DSG transmission and an ATE Racing ABS system with Brembo four piston, fixed calipers at the front and Lucas one piston, sliding calipers at the rear.  Put it all together and you have the definition of a high performance sports sedan, one that some of America’s top young racing talent used to launch their careers from 2008 – 2011 in the SCCA’s Pro Racing Jetta TDI Cup.
