Want to get your start on the dirt racing ladder? The Micro Sprint is your first step. One of the fastest-growing small car classes in America, don’t be surprised if you see many of the drivers competing in these small yet nimble machines become the future stars of pro racing. Whether it’s in a weekly racing series, traveling championships that run across America, or major events like the Tulsa Shootout, they’re a fun, affordable way to get out on track and have some fun!

Micro Sprints mostly race on small tracks, such as the quarter-mile Millbridge Speedway in North Carolina. Equipped with a 600cc engine that produces more than 160 horsepower, they’ve got enough power for young racers to learn the skills they need to step up, but are approachable enough not to overwhelm them. Micro Sprints can be run both with and without a wing, and on iRacing, you’ll have the opportunity to try both!
