Building on the success of multiple generations of successful entry-level cars, including the M2 CS Racing already on iRacing, the BMW M2 Racing (G87) joined the fray in 2026 as BMW’s latest iteration. Eligible for numerous single-make and multi-manufacturer series and events around the world, the M2 Racing is built to demonstrate that technical sophistication and affordability can coexist.

Boasting an advertised 313 horsepower from its twin-turbo inline-four engine, the M2 Racing can reach a top speed of 270 km/h (nearly 170 mph). Other evolutions from the previous M2 CS Racing include shock absorbers based on modern GT3 technology and Goodyear 265/660 R18 tires.
